Good job on the music. I think when you are holding down a key, it should fill in the yellow arrows. Also, when you hit a green arrow, maybe it should turn white or something to better indicate success. Maybe those arrows can turn red when you miss them.

Hey, I think that’s a great idea for giving feedback back to the user! If I work on the game further I will implement these features

I am all in for difficult coordination so i quite enjoyed it :D But it has to feel right. I really loved that some parts felt really good with the timing of the music and the arrows. Especially the part with the chords. Good job!

Developer

I’m glad you enjoyed it! The main focus of the game during the jam was to make it in sync with the music, and to get the core gameplay working before i added extra features. Thanks for checking out my game!

Wow this was so difficult for me because I have terrible coordination haha but I did enjoy it. Often I just gave up on trying to get the green arrows right so I could move the car without losing hearts

Developer

I think the heart system could be better refined. Maybe after a certain number of correct arrow presses, gain some health back. I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for trying it out!

Nice game, but a little more feedback for getting the right notes would be fun, also the audio is only coming from the left.
Since you used Godot I assume you've used an AudioStreamPlayer2D, this node plays the sound from where it is coming from, which is  very useful for listening to npc movement and following sources of sound, but for music you generally want to use an AudioStreamPlayer node instead, specially in your case since there is no sound at all coming from the right.

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn’t noticed it, because i wasn’t using headphones, so thank you for the tip!

The game is showing only 4 green arrows for me. I liked the game, but i cant play.

Hi, thanks for the heads up! Seems like I forgot to reset some variables after testing. I uploaded a fixed version, so it should work now
