Found any? Let me know please I'd love to fix them.

Trying to set up custom controls for a player 2 didn't work for attack and special, because the game kept prompting me for "submit" and "cancel" (which did work properly when entered). All of the other controls I had set up for player 2 worked fine. I was playing 1680x1050 windowed, if that helps with why the controls might be overlapping on that menu.

Game's otherwise been running fine so far! Controls feel tight on a Logitech controller, though I haven't tried keyboard yet outside of that issue.

EDIT: Also, attacking directly into destructible ground with a normal punch can sometimes warp you into it. I found this on the right side of the stage. Doing the same thing multiple times tends to warp you around.

Walking into a steep uphill corner can cause you to get stuck as long as you hold into it and flicker between falling/landing.

Shooting straight down while standing makes a circle below you in destructible ground with the ground you're standing on intact, though that one might be intended.

Charge attacking (the cool dash thing?) someone into a corner, then holding special after hitting them causes you to keep hitting them 2 or 3 extra times while you charge the beam attack. This one's actually really cool, but since you don't normally have a hitbox while charging it seems unintended.

LAST EDIT SORRY:
I had screenshake on, and after getting a KO with a charge attack into a beam somehow locked the camera in one position-ish with my character running against the wall (without me inputting) and massive amounts of screenshake. I hit reset in the pause menu and my character started charging a special beam in the corner with the weird camera angle and screenshake persisting. I exited to the main menu, but the screen shake and weird camera persisted even on the main menu while the game started lagging. Eventually it started running at about 1 frame per 2 seconds or so, and I had to restart before I could manage to get back into a new fight.

Thanks for the report! I'll check it out in the morning. Think I know the issue and it shouldn't be too much trouble.

no problem!! thanks for letting me test this game out, it definitely feels AMAZING outside of the bugs i ran into a few times (which weren't major)
if i get a chance to test it out with another player instead of just beating up an afk player 2, i'll post more if i find more

I think I've got the remapping problem solved as well as most of the weird ground interactions. The last one you mentioned is a regression I was really hoping I'd licked before release. As for the triple-punch-to-blast, I think I might need to make a new animation to make that canon. Thanks again for letting me know about all of that stuff.

Connecting my controller worked fine, I unplugged it and plugged it back in and did not get any response till I restarted the game. Duplicated twice.  (Connecting my controller via usb cord.)

I can't set up two PS4 controllers at once. One works but the other doesn't register. Playing keyboard plus controller works though.

Are you on windows with DS4Windows? I’ve seen a similar report. The controller mapping should work without DS4Windows running.

I’ve pushed a new build so let me know if things are better (I’d still recommend disabling DS4Windows if you are indeed using it)

No I haven't used that program. I found one called ds3 on my computer and im hoping disabling that works.

helpl therr is no charactter

when i plaay it nno  i only see kamehhame and the player 1

hi dean, love the game, but for some reason it just started completely wigging out on me.  movement speed/most actions seems to be like 5 times as fast, half the time my jump input doesn't work, and the controls menu wont open. I know these are pretty vague problems but have you encountered this before? thanks

wow, does your issue persist after you restart the game? I haven’t run into it, but I’ll be booting things up tomorrow regardless so I’ll try to take a peek.

yeah i've tried restarting the game and my computer. the weird thing is it's happening on my friends computer as well. even the bots at the main menu are going crazy. again, sorry for the problem being so vague.

Did it start that way or break after a certain point? Did you send your own directory to your friend’s computer (sharing is encouraged, just trying to diagnose.)? It could be something in your player prefs.

It didn't start that way on my friends computer, but we were having a problem with the backing track playing on the dome level, so we reinstalled and that's when it started.  Then later I downloaded the game off itch.io from the Bundle for racial justice and the problem happened for me straight away.

I think I may have this fixed.

I'm having this issue too.

The Main Menu has a normal paced demo game showing, but the second I start a match everything seems to go five times as fast.

Damn, I thought I had that fixed. I’ll look into it again. Are you using a high refresh monitor or anything? It’s been tough to reproduce on my end

dang, that sucks! no players? can you open any menus? what plaform?

I have this too. Doing anything on the menu removes everything, including sound. Escape button works. Trying to use the mouse on anything closes the menu regardless of what was pressed.

I am on windows 11. I used the itch launcher to start the game.

I have Nvidea shield overlay, although this rarely affects anything.

I have two controllers connected. A ps4 controller (bluetooth) and a n64 controller (usb).

Ah, so I think I see the problem. The sliders are for some reason being initialized to zero, including players. If you modify them even once all subsequent games should keep those settings. I’ll try to push out a release to fix the lack of defaults when I can. In the meantime I hope this helps!

Yes i see your face and the menu , where you can start a game, but if you try it then you see only this picture...

I am on the linux version, hope you can fix this.

That is a relief! I unlocked that number to test performance in an experimental mobile build. Seems there are a few ui sliders that don’t seem to honor their limits (some people have reported sound being at like -10000000)

Adding the ability to spawn bots from the game menu was a terrible idea of mine! I’m sorry they’re instant KOing, must be spawning too high for some reason. Do they have the same problem if you start a match with them enabled?

I think so.  However, bots still only have one stock. I should just get some friends lol

The bots should be spawning in with the same stock count as you’ve set for the round, that’s odd. Playing with friends is definitely way better, the menu does pretty specifically call the bots out as being crappy! I’ve heard some very good reports of the game working well over Parsec if that’s an option for you. Feel free to share the game binary as well to entice your friends to play.
