Nice game, good work.

Really nice game, fun combat, interesting character and a cute story. I don't know if it was on purpose but I feel some Classic 2D Zelda Inspiration here, which I like and it gives the game a nice touch. The music and environments are really nice and fun to traverse. I would like to move with the WASD for more easy control with the mouse. Good job!

Ah glad you liked it! Yeah others pointed out the whole WASD issue but I can't update it, but as soon as I can I will. Thanks for playing! :)

The controls are super awkward as others have said, but it's also a really funny and cute game with a LOT of charm and character. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I wish I could update the game with WASD controls to be default and it sucks because it's such a small fix that would make it much better haha. Still glad you enjoyed it :)

The concept, art style, and mechanics all work really well! My main complaint would be that your control layout is all over the place. If mouse is required, then WASD should be allowed to move, which also positions your left hand closer to R for restarting, and then you could make Spacebar or Left Click flip through the cutscene instead of Enter. Nice job overall though, it's a really solid submission!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I realized the control scheme was a bit janky, and since I couldn't modify the build, I updated the page with how to re-map controls. Glad you enjoyed it though :)

Love the toon art, it's all so coherent and fits super well with the hilarious plot. Nice job!

Nice little game, loved the music and was surprised for having 3 levels

But having to use arrow keys with mouse is rly annoying

And i dont see the point of needing to hold the mouse button if the player can just constantly hold the button and then stop when he needs to recharge, might as well just make it automatic

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah I realized after it was submitted arrow keys might not be the best default scheme. However, if you want to try it out using WASD, press ctrl + y on any screen in the game. You can then map the controls to whichever keys you feel like! Thanks for the feedback :)

The art and the concept is very nice. I also liked the story :) For first the control was a bit strange for me too :)

Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it!

I have to say the game is nice. I took me a while to figure out the controls and i really wish I could have used WASD instead of the arrows. But it was really fun!

ps. dunno if it is my pc but it freezes at times

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Wish i could update the game with WASD instead of arrow keys, but can't do that as the jam isn't over yet. However, if you want to play through again with WASD, press ctrl + y on any screen and you can map your own controls! Thanks for the feedback!

Whan you can do is write these controls on the itch.io page! That will help a lot trust me!

Developer

Oh yeah, I updated the itch page as soon as I read your comment. Hope others will see it :)
