Cool game! Several games have you losing control at some point, but I liked having to type the mantras to calm back down - it really added to the experience! There were a couple times where the bullets were all lined up such that it was impossible to dodge after calming down, but I was always able to get out of it before dying.

Really cool concept. Typing in the mantras is a good idea. The game is pretty punishing but overall really nice

Hey, thanks for stopping by the stream last night, I rated just now and the VOD is posted here if you're interested:

Nice spin on the theme! Loved the concept. But I can't keep thinking it's kind of a contradiction: you need to get hit (play bad) to see the most original part of the game. Maybe you can take the idea, and put it in other kind of game (where doing mantras is actually a good thing). Great job nonetheless. Check our game!

The gameplay is nice and original, but the lack controls customization is a bummer (I was playing on an AZERTY keyboard so switching to a QWERTY input made typing the mantras difficult). Apart from that, the mantras themselves work 2/3rd of the time for some reason. It's a shame, because I really like the concept and I'd love to see more of it!

Anyway, I wish you luck

EDIT: I also like the simple graphic style and the way the tutorial is set up with the healing 'coin' being right here after the first enemy! It really teaches you how to play without actually telling you everything, which is kinda cool.

A neat little spin on 'losing' control! I feel like losing control of the player is a bit too punishing right now, it's easy to die very quickly, but a very neat style and premise!
Oh also I lost and wasn't able to exit the game in any way. Just noting it as a bug in case you want to continue working on this!

Thanks for playing! Thank you for your feedback on the difficulty as well. I was considering adding a brief invincibility period after you get hit, but didn't have time for it.

I am aware of a bug causing the level not to restart if you die and then finish typing the mantra postmortem. If that's not what happened to you, please let me know what happened so I can try to replicate it. Thanks!

I like the fact that when you go in "Rage Mode" you have to type Everything Is Okay

I liked the idea of having to write mantras to gain back control!
