I did pretty much abandon animations for the game, yes. Animation work is not something I enjoy, and I feel like the time it takes for me to make a decent animation is better spent on making actual content. Since the game's focus isn't on the porn side of things, I feel like it isn't too big of a loss anyway. There will be the occasional animation here and there, if the situation calls for it, but don't expect them in every h-scene going forward.

That being said, I'm glad the other aspects of the game were able to make up for the animations and you enjoyed your time with it. Thanks for playing :)

I actually got so damn frustrated with it, I just removed it. Good luck, I hope you refine your technique.

Edit: I can tell I am being replied to, but unfortunately the dev has blocked my direct participation in comments. They do not take criticism well. I would  happily have a reasonable discussion otherwise. I'm editing existing comments via profile blindly so you all understand I am not ignoring, nor was it me trolling. I genuinely had interest in the project.

Sounds like a personal problem 👋

Indeed a skill issue

Alright, man. Take care.

This is a linear AVN... the main story is static, and only minor choices to be made-- this isn't a sandbox, nor a game in the traditional sense. If it isn't to your tastes, I'm sure there are plenty of others out there more to your liking. That said, this is Vertigo's story to tell, not the crowd, nor the player-- it's ok not to like it, as long as you understand criticism like that isn't likely to have any affect (beyond goading a reaction out of people that do like the story) and there is something to be said for polite constructive criticism.

aww the retard is still here, what gonna cry for another scan dev?

Maybe you could eventually do what Story Anon did with Out of Touch and just add them later? Or commission/find someone to do them for you? Though that has its own problems like the cost and you have to hope whoever you pay can make them on time. Or just have them made and throw them in at a later date...

Ehh, I don't really care all too much about the animations. I just like some movement every now and then as it makes the game feel more alive. (Which admittedly you already do quite a bit of that with some of the stuff that goes on in the background as well as a lot of the conversations and expressions the character's have.)

It's not a bad idea; I'll keep it in mind going forward, thank you. :)
