Well written, well thought out, and delivered with style... yes. Agree 100%.

The mentality of the people in charge of dictating moral high ground to the world never fail to amaze me with their hypocrisy...
Full on AAA titles out there promoting murder, dismemberment, theft, psychological horror... but it's fiction, so it's all good... realism, right?
Mind control? Omg, you MONSTER... (yeah, so it's fictional, too, but it's just too real, right... ?)
Nevermind how many of these payment processors engage in snooping our data, sharing our spending habits amongst one another-- all so they can control what we see/buy in adverts aimed at the weaknesses they find in the data.
I think it far more likely that these people trying to tell us what's good for us don't want us drawing any parallels to their own methods of control.
Anyway-- it's good to see you've finally taken up your own gauntlet, Arc. Give 'em Hell!
sjhshshshsh never has facts... they are fueled by psychoses and hatred-- nothing more than a troll account. The proof is in the profile; click on the name and read what a wonderful person they aren't. They have a backup account called awdasqwwaw2 that they switch back and forth with... you can tell by the comments it's the same person. Easiest to just report/block; otherwise they'll follow you and harass you on every page you visit once you engage them.
This is a linear AVN... the main story is static, and only minor choices to be made-- this isn't a sandbox, nor a game in the traditional sense. If it isn't to your tastes, I'm sure there are plenty of others out there more to your liking. That said, this is Vertigo's story to tell, not the crowd, nor the player-- it's ok not to like it, as long as you understand criticism like that isn't likely to have any affect (beyond goading a reaction out of people that do like the story) and there is something to be said for polite constructive criticism.
My guy, I'm a CONTRIBUTOR (so-- explain it to me-- whom, of the two of us, is "mooching"?) ... a patron on his Patreon with a Founder role on the Discord... LOL. Also, didn't I already say I didn't care what a cyberbully and his lil' buddies thought about me? Listen.. I'mma explain this once again, too-- because you seem to be having trouble keeping up, and you're making a REALLY poor attempt to try deflecting and projecting-- I will be an "insufferable asshole" to ANYONE that thinks it's OK to post someone's financial info online for the purpose of false accusation, or who normalize bullying someone for taking their time to do something right, because they think he's taking too long. Full Stop. You call your little buddies off of Komi, and I'll stop giving them aneurysms by calling them out as the nasty little cyberbullies they are. Oh, by the way-- nobody "has to pay", thick boi... that's a donation they can stop at any time (I've explained that several times now) so that shtick has gotten kinda dry. Also, when exactly did I move the goalpost? Or was that a matter of your misunderstanding? Or, most likely, you want to try to twist this around somehow... the game is free. That he accepts donations to help with financing it is completely irrelevant-- sorry if that bothers you (I'm not, really). Nobody has ever had to pay a thing to get the game, whether contributing to Komi or not. He isn't charging anyone to play this game. He has a large group of people that have signed up to donate funds... including myself. Honestly, I think THAT bothers you more than anything... although whether you're jealous of the money they help him with, or the fact that that many people believe in him, I'm just not sure.
I DO know that the finances that pass between Komi and his supporters is nobody's business but their own, and posting their business online in a sad attempt to chase off contributors/future contributors is a classless, tasteless, low I.Q., cyberbully tactic that deserves no less than to be called out. YOU are the one that continues to defend such behavior, my guy. "Don't Start None, Won't Be None.." as they say.
Go on... next toxic comment for this "retard" please. Continue proving my point, by all means.
P.S. sorta tipped your hand, there, focusing on how much Komi gets in donations in the first part of your last comment... y'all are part of the same knitting-circle, aren't you? Bullies like traveling in flocks-- better go call your backup, kiddo, they're falling behind on their downvote game.
They're downvoting comments that have anything nice to say, and upvoting the nasty comments that paint Komi in the wrong light. The game is being worked on, and honestly if you want to see the real progress, or be able to chat with people that are actively interested in helping encourage Komi in their endeavor I'd recommend the Discord. It seems to be where Komi updates most of his activity; even the Trello isn't updated as often as the discord, nor the Patreon (more like 'springboards' to get to the Discord, honestly). Go there to avoid the bullies. I prefer raising their blood pressure, myself-- just watch how many downvotes this comment gets... ;-)
OK, tough guy, feel free to try "shutting me the fuck up".
Let me put it in terms you might understand: if YOU are not paying for it, it is FREE to YOU. If you didn't pay a dime, you literally have no claim (or say, for that matter) in when, how, or to whom the product is distributed- period. It's free to you, even if you've contributed--- and that goes back to that definitions I posted earlier. You act as though you paid some tax, or your buddy paid some tax, to get you the game... except tax is compulsory.... there is nothing about this game, or it's relevant sites that is compulsory beyond being 18+ . The game is financed with DONATIONS... a concept you seem a bit too thick to understand. They're voluntary. It's not a business transaction; you aren't buying a 'drink'... in fact, you aren't "Buying" anything. This is NOT 'quid pro quo'... you aren't exchanging money for product, service, or anything else. IF you are contributing, you are doing it voluntarily-- and can stop at any time. You STILL aren't paying for the product if you come back later and get the game, but DON'T CONTRIBUTE A DIME. What, you think a one-time $5.00 donation means you've made anything close to an equivalent exchange? No. You donated $5.00 to a good cause, and now you tap your foot with your hand out expecting something in return. You didn't read the definition of "Donation", did you? If you're expecting something in return, you've misunderstood the whole transaction-- and who's fault would that be? (hint: not the author, nor anybody else buy the person you see in the mirror)
Will you get something if you donated? Evidence points to yes... this author has been super transparent on the Discord, and if he's guilty of anything, it's of being a perfectionist that wants to give his fan's the best-- for which you and your little bully buddies have set out thrash him publicly, repeatedly. Again, I'll stand up for Komi all day-- I don't much give a shit what some cyberbully and his lackeys think of me, no matter how often they threaten to "shut me the fuck up". That threat alone is toxic enough to prove what I've been saying:
Y'all are just schoolyard bullies, beating up on good people because nobody taught you any better. Don't you have anything better to do than try to wreck someone's livelihood because they aren't conforming to your standards?
Is that clear enough? Do you need it animated? A flow chart, perhaps? Shall I break out the crayons?
Ratio that, you keyboard thug.
Not obsessed-- I dislike it when people normalize bullying someone for not being faster about giving them the sweat of their brow while bitching about how long it's taking. Picking on someone for not giving you your freebie fast enough is not kind, compassionate, or empathetic... it's just mean--- and so is normalizing it, or understating it. It's like beating up on someone for not handing you something they made fast enough.
If you are not paying, it is free... no amount of "sophistry" changes that. If you're donating, you can stop-- because it is voluntary, as explained above--- and you'll STILL be able to get it, because *DINGDINGDING* it's free. Cease YOUR crybullying; I wouldn't have to say a thing if you'd move on from something that obviously bothers you... you know... being an adult and walking away instead of being a vindictive little whiner because you don't have your free stuff when you want it. Also: you aren't "renting" the game, you knob... this ain't Blockbuster Video. Completely irrelevant comparison.
I'll quit defending Komi when someone who actually has a horse in the race asks me to. ;)
Just to be clear:

^This^ is what Patrons do. This is, as you see, completely voluntary. Now:

This is NOT a purchase. The product is free. You're bashing a dev that is providing a FREE PRODUCT because he hasn't finished it yet. But I'm the asshole. Right. You're out here demanding something you didn't even purchase, but I'm the asshole. ... do you even see what you're typing?
I'm not riling anyone; I'm defending the dev. Sorry if it bothers you that I'm not just letting you and your buddies attempt to destroy Komi's livelihood and credibility for taking his time. I don't give a shit that nobody asked me to-- I've said it before:
Y'all are like schoolyard bullies, beating on this dev because you think it will get you your freebie sooner. I'd stand against dispicable behavior like that any day of the week. The real question is this: what kind of person are you for condoning it?
You did exactly what I figured you would... hell, what I literally said you would in my reply: you're on here bashing the author, with your hand out for your free stuff-- but I'm the one you think is in the wrong for calling you out on it. It's not delusion when you literally doubled down on what I said you'd do. Congrats. You played yourself. You think you're justified, posting financials (suggesting quite a few nasty possibilities with that one) calling the author slow... all the while saying "it's ok... it'll make them work faster" ... really? You really believe bashing someone so they'll hurry up and give you your freebie is good, kind, and decent behavior? Yeah... you make my point for me.
Right, I'M the one delusional... XD XD XD
Tell me, Mr. or Mrs. Innocent criticism: if you weren't trying to suggest something nefarious, what WAS the point of bringing their financials into it?
Allow me to reiterate: the game is FREE. Unless you're contributing to those financials, you're pressing someone to hurry up and give you your free stuff. All the while attempting to damage their bottom line (yes, I'm sure THAT will help) by posting their financials and suggesting either incompetent management or outright grift... perhaps trying to scare off his patrons, or attempting to prevent future contributors (again, SURELY, that'll help move things along...).
That goes well beyond criticism... that's deliberately trying to trash someone's livelihood... because you don't think their working fast enough.
But go on saying you're only trying to give constructive criticism... whatever helps you sleep at night.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the delusional one... but go on and deflect. I'm pretty sure you'll keep making my point for me.
The game is free. If you don't want to donate, you don't have to. End of story.
Really classy, belittling someone, posting their financials-- deliberately attacking someone for not giving you your handout on your schedule.
Edit: justifying bashing or bullying someone by saying it speeds things up is absolutely disgusting; it's like expounding on the benefits of a bullwhip because it makes slaves work faster. Justifying it because they do it on another site doesn't make it acceptable, either. Hurting someone that's giving you something for free is absolutely wrong. Hurtful is hurtful, period. When it's directed at someone because they didn't give you your free stuff fast enough, it's just plain shameful.
The sad part here is that most of the people I point this out to try to say I'm the one being rude or hostile-- I'm here defending someone that is too kind to lock this all behind a paywall and shut down hostile comments. Your hostility may have come "out of the side of your mouth" as it were, but an attack is an attack whether it's passive-aggressive, backhanded, or masked with praise.
Y'all are like schoolyard bullies beating people up for kicks and lunch money. Shameful behavior.
Another edit: the only thing I "gotta" understand is that their monthly earnings are between their patrons and themselves. I don't honestly care about the data.
You keep making my points for me... and resorting to personal insults is the last resort of a beaten opponent. Name calling, especially... Pandy? I'm flattered. It's hard to make anyone believe you aren't mad when you turn to toxic behavior like name calling and references to sexual deviancy. No argument against you? My guy, you just got finished saying I was goading you, and that's why you responded... if you aren't flamed, why you making it personal?
If you don't get it, you don't get it. This game has sat in the top ten most popular adult games on Itch for a long time... so long, in fact, that Komisari could turn this into a demo page, turn off comments, and only offer updates to his patrons... leaving you to wonder (and comment) to yourself. At least then they could develop in peace, instead of having to come here to defend themselves against cyberbullies that think it's good form to post financials in public forums, or to try to chase people off (how very classy). You didn't pay a dime for this game, but you're here to complain that it's not done yet? ... who's the "Yandere"?
The best part is this: you'll return, and take the free update, because Komisari is too kind to do what I described above. You'll be 'eating that crow' in private, but we'll still know. ;) Enjoy.
This developer made this game with NO previous knowledge of game development. It's got an engrossing story, great humor, developed characters, minigames-- literally hours of content (and very few bugs-- in fact I've never run into one, although I'm told there are a few, I've never been able to reproduce them) and days of it if you're a completionist. It's been in the top ten most popular adult games on Itch.io since I joined the site, which is why it was one of the first I ever downloaded-- for all of these very good reasons. The developer is active in their Discord community, offering sneak peeks, progress reports, and a great group of deviants to chat with while you explore it all. It will keep you playing longer than many paid titles on Steam, and it's free.
Are you still wondering why people love this game, or this dev?
Again: IYKYK. If you don't... well, my guy, your words don't carry as much weight as you think they do. ;)
A couple things to remember when it comes to any adult game/AVN: Sounds = file bloat... it gobbles up space. Voice acting (yes, even for just moans) is both expensive to hire, and hard to find. Plapping noises are different: you can make those easily with the right materials, and you can reuse them as needed. CH has a pretty large cast of characters, so you'd need a pretty diverse range of voices for moans, grunts, whimpers, gasps, and whatever else you can think of... now you have higher overhead (considering Vert is building this AVN on nothing but donations, that isn't a small thing) and a massive sound file (all fun and games until you're at the mercy of mega or mediafire)... As nice as it would be (for some of us-- others would mute any sounds so we could continue playing without traumatizing anyone walking past the door) a lot of folks don't know how much they're asking for when they ask for moans or voicing.
*literally, *would, *You're, *assumptions, *you're (again)... I've never seen anyone get so shook they completely misspell that much of the first sentence they type, especially since the reply window is spell-checked... being literate (and articulate) helps when you're trolling a public forum (or attempting to, anyway) my guy. XD
Hmm, right, why would you lie about that? Clearly you're very pleasant and polite, on here bashing folks that can't even defend themselves-- mainly because your identity is hidden behind a throwaway account here on Itch... but you're right about one thing-- I'm one of them. The way you're running your keys right now? I guarantee I'm 100% correct in those 'assumption(s)'. XD
I'm going to plug the Patreon real quick, because Vertigo doesn't like to 'toot his own horn', so to speak: Lowest tier is dirt cheap, once per month, and you get sneak-peeks, frequent devlogs, and early access for less than lunch at Chipolte... once per month. This dev is worth it. Play this game-- it'll prove my point. If you absolutely can't, at least rate the game-- a little love goes a long way! The discord is a great group of folks, too, and that's free!
Gonna plug this again, because this dev is definitely worth the extra mile:
The top tier of NCrow's Patreon membership is cheaper than getting lunch at McDonald's... and it's only once a month. Just some information-- food for thought, so to speak. It's awesome getting the updates right out of the gate, and the devlogs are usually full of sneak-peeks... plus you can connect to the Discord and chat with NCrow and the rest of the community. Lowest tier is about as expensive as an energy drink at the gas station... and again, it's a once per month thing. HIGHLY recommend. If you've played this game, you already know it's big enough and awesome enough to deserve a tip-- the game is free, and it's in the TOP 5 top rated games on Itch. Worth it!
