This one was great! It had a simple idea, but made it work with unique art style and amazing voice work. I just wish it felt a bit beefier to shoot bullets. I like it when there is a massive muzzle flash, fast, big bullets, and a big impact when you hit enemies. I also think there was a lot of white space, so maybe you should've made some cactus, rocks, or tumbleweeds to give it more atmosphere. Other than that, great job!
Appreciate the feedback! I had worried a bit about tuning the screenshake/effects, so it's good to know that I could have turned it up a fair bit. All of the above were planned as well (cactus, tumbleweeds, rocks) but we ran out of time for those compared to the more pressing stuff. Glad to hear you enjoyed, though!
The voice acting really makes it ! :D Weapons feel nice to use, but perhaps the saloon could be used as normal so it would not be that annoying to buy new weaponry :) Good work!
Pretty polished and fun! Ammo being limited when buying new guns, I was more compelled to save for the most expensive gear and only use the basic gun until that. Buying weapons was made harder by the fact that the aim is nearly the same color than the background, making it almost invisible. Once, I triggered the next wave while I was at the entrance of the saloon and got stock.
