Also, it's not a reproduction. For that you would need to take a photo of a flat object and basically be a photocopier. If you need skill and artistic judment, it is not even a representation, let alone a reproduction of the subject.
I would be interested how you see the situation of a movie director and the movie. The director did not even use the camera, write script, act, cut, and do all the other artistic jobs. Yet the director usually gets the most credit for a movie. And the blame, if it sucks.
