I love pixel art! the game is ok but is better if you create a restart button (if i losed i had to restart the game) ( My english isn't good, i'm italian)
Thank you. There actually is a restart button in the menu which is accessible by ENTER on a keyboard, START or SELECT on a gamepad, and the small rectangular button above the X and O on a touchscreen.
Good time overall, puzzles got tricky real fast for me but I appreciate the challenge. Just needed some background music I think but pretty fun other than that!
Great game, I found sound effect when moving a bit annoying. Maybe some 8-bit music or so would help (if it's also not too dominant).
Thank you! The move sound is a bit irksome and in need of softening. I also think some music would help break up the sonic repetition.
I don't know if you are supposed to be able to beat the thank you for playing level, but if you do I have no idea how the movement is supposed to work. Also after trying that level for a bit I got a "out of memory" bug.
Other than that the game is pretty awesome, I'm not very experienced at sokoban games so the frog levels required some guesswork for me, but otherwise it was pretty doable.
The art is really nice and the levels are fun. Great Job!
Thank you! :D Furthermore, I appreciate the bug report. I've got a good idea on what might be causing the issue.
Pretty fun Sokoban style game. I felt the game was tough but then that's just me with two brain cells!
Loved the vibe and the antics!
I always love to see a Pico-8 game! Really loved the art. Overall a really solid Sokoban game.
Should've expected no less from a Pico 8 game. Awesome art. Awesome game. No music, though? That's a lil' sad. I'll finish the game later on, since it is quite difficult hah
Thank you.
It seems incredibly scary to make music, but erhaps that's all the more reason to try.
This is SO good! So glad to see devs using Pico 8 in game jams.
Thank you! <3
Very nice work.
Love the obvious time and effort you put into the interactions with different animal types and layout of each level.
It got hard fast but that’s kind of expected with Sokoban games :)
Awesome job!
Thank you. :D
Love the design, this game looks fantastic! The puzzles ramped up in difficulty quickly, but I was hooked. I had to stop because I wasn't smart enough to keep going but I'll come back after a break!
I didn't understand as much when there were two of ruff, how the movement was supposed to work. Maybe there's an opportunity to ease that mechanic in somehow?
I wholly agree. I think even just one more level where you get to interact with the puppy and explore the mechanics before being tossed into harder puzzles would go a long way.
Game needs a "significant brain usage required" disclaimer, lol! My 1AM brain really appreciated the skip function so I could look at all the mechanics, as well as the undo/redo features to avoid having to restart the whole puzzle because of a bad move. Adorable game, the art direction and aesthetics are super fitting <3 The way each critter is slowly introduced with its own movement pattern (and pushing pattern, it looks like?) also keeps things feeling fresh all the way. It did get a little confusing for me at times when there were two dogs in the first set of puzzles or when control switched to one of the sheep because I didn't know which critter I was playing until I moved, but overall it felt like a very polished experience. Great job!
Thanks! Each character does indeed have different interaction mechanics. The pig was a late addition and surprisingly became one of my favorites.
