The artwork and sound effects are wonderful! I also liked the opening; it had a great atmosphere. I think this game has a lot of potential! (ツ)ノ
Thank you so much!
I didn’t realize it could rotate at first. It would be more fun to see more stationary drawings. Nice!
Thank you! We will definitely add more after the jam!
Wow cool Idea but I don't see the machines inside bro :(((
Quite fun, but i cant see the theme machines here sorry :(
Quite fun, reminds me of building tracks for toy cars to roll on when I was a kid. I legit thought I had to use the slants of the pencil and eraser to make it move horizontally alone, but then learned I could rotate stuff and felt dumb
I love this game, it is quite appealing and it reminds me of some old flash games with similar mechanics. Good old times!
i like the art the art and animations are ammazing spiceli rubber animation the sound is also ok
but overall a good game
here is my game
love the graphics! would've been nice imo to have the grid implicitly there but have a background and only show up on placement/rotation or something to give the game art a complete vibe but overall a fun game!
it is really hard to rotate things ... That said, I appreciated the atmosphere and the chosen art style here. It creates a genuinely intriguing vibe.
Thank you for the feedback! Appreciate it :) If you directly click on the objects there should appear a rotate-symbol:
But I get that it's not easy to find it immediately.
woah art and audio is really cool! Nicely done 🤗
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it! ^__^
I really liked your game, it’s a lot of fun. I played 2 levels and the game didn’t move on to the next stage, so I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if it’s supposed to work like that.
I also think the theme wasn’t explored very well.
Please add more levels, haha 😄
Cute game! I am and will ever be a fan of The Incredible Machine style games!
The physics are a bit janky, there are times where i think the marble will change direction and it wont unfortunately. In example the corner of the eraser would let you think that the marble would change angle, but it won't.
And the tools are a bit hard to use, especially the first level for me. I didn't notice you could rotate stuff until level 3.
I like the audio compartment... BOING! xD
Overall i love the idea of this kind of game represented in a jam, brings good memories! :)
I'm really happy you enjoyed it!
As a child I also used to play The Incredible Toon Machine and Crazy Machines a lot.
It's really an honor to hear that it evoked positive memories!
So naturally, when I heard the theme of the game jam, my mind instantly went to that, especially because of all the different ways you could design machines, it would give us a lot of freedom.
I agree, that the physics could be improved a bit.
Regarding the eraser, I think I know what could cause that, and I'll look to fix it in an upcoming version.
(I didn't notice it myself, but while designing the rotation, I thought that it could become an issue)
During playtesting with family members, I also noticed, that the menu came unexpected and that it wasn't documented or well introduced.
As well as the mode changing wasn't that expected. (Sometimes people would click on the items and they wouldn't get moved, because they were unaware that they were still in "Play" mode).
I intend to work more on it, even after the jam, it kind of gave me the confidence to know that it can be done.
Again thanks so much on the feedback! :)
Music has just been added, that one wasn't done during the jam, but prior.
The SFX have been made entirely by me for the jam.
This game is created entirely new from scratch for the jam. All art in the game was done by daisyhair after the theme has been publicized. The coding was done by me.
It's our spin on the puzzle machine genre.
