Great game!

Audio's a bit loud, so a volume setting would be nice.

Other than that level 7 was really challenging and I loved it!

The pixel art looks good and the music is decent.

It's a bit hard to understand to me, that you can only connect a shaft of another direction if 2 gears are attached to each other. But that might have been my skill issue. The "debugger" on space really helped with that!

I would have expected for example that shaft down, gear, shaft right would also transfer. 1:1
Without having to do "shaft down, gear X, gear X, shaft right" for a 1:1

It's not a problem with the mechanic, just that I didn't have the feeling that it was introduced.

Nice puzzle game! I feel like the later levels are easier than the first ones.

I struggled very hard to place the big cog in the second level.

I really enjoyed the music and the graphics!

I'm really happy you enjoyed it!

As a child I also used to play The Incredible Toon Machine and Crazy Machines a lot.

It's really an honor to hear that it evoked positive memories!

So naturally, when I heard the theme of the game jam, my mind instantly went to that, especially because of all the different ways you could design machines, it would give us a lot of freedom.

I agree, that the physics could be improved a bit.
Regarding the eraser, I think I know what could cause that, and I'll look to fix it in an upcoming version.
(I didn't notice it myself, but while designing the rotation, I thought that it could become an issue)

During playtesting with family members, I also noticed, that the menu came unexpected and that it wasn't documented or well introduced.
As well as the mode changing wasn't that expected. (Sometimes people would click on the items and they wouldn't get moved, because they were unaware that they were still in "Play" mode).

I intend to work more on it, even after the jam, it kind of gave me the confidence to know that it can be done.

Again thanks so much on the feedback! :)

Amazing presentation!

I love point&click games and this just feels so good.

Unfortunately I got stuck, I figured out the code, but I couldn't get the coal from the coal vein.

Plus it's hard to make out the 2 symbols on the lock.

I like, the twist that various modifiers can get applied while you have to start evading more and more enemies.

I think the sound effects and music fit well. Although the background is a bit empty.

Furthermore when Logic Leak happens I die instantly without knowing what happens.

Looking into the source code I assume I should start getting chased by my ghost, although I'm already moving when that happens I still die.

I love the building mode soundtrack. Unfortunately no music is playing while the wave is active.

Thank you! :)

Music has just been added, that one wasn't done during the jam, but prior.

The SFX have been made entirely by me for the jam.

OMG, I love it!
It's actually pretty close to our game, with the difference, that this one focuses on cogs. I love the simplicity! Also in terms of code size! Good job!

This game is created entirely new from scratch for the jam. All art in the game was done by daisyhair after the theme has been publicized. The coding was done by me.
It's our spin on the puzzle machine genre.

The ground tiles were made by Locus-motion for this entry.
