How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
Theme: The Mole can reverse time. However, the time reversal mechanic does not apply to the mole's position, but only affects the environment. The goal is to strategically reverse time so as to fill in holes you previously dug out in such a way that the level can be completed.
Special Object: Reach the end to find out! (or read this backwards: .sananab fo elip tnaig a fo pot no detautis enorht a steg eh ,emag eht fo dne eht tA .doof rof gnikool si elom ehT)
What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
Some music files used for test purposes were 3rd party and remain in the games files, but they are not used in the final version of the game. Otherwise, no third-party assets were used in the making of this game.
How did you use generative AI? (If you did)
We did not.

i got stuck):
Don't worry!! There is a tutorial video in the downloads section!!
Great core mechanic! Hard to get around the level though
Thanks for the feedback Unsolved Games! :-)
I like the combination of digging and time reversal in your puzzle game a lot.
With a bit of polish, this could become a very fun little game =)
Some issues you might want to fix:
Congratulations on your game jam submission!
Thank you so much for the feedback Beosil! Glad you enjoyed the game!
Graphics are cool, but for sure i didn't understand the goal of the game. Rate my game if you have some time, thank you
I really love the pixel art. However, I’m not quite sure how to play. I even tried about six times. Congrats on finishing the game!
Thank you so much for the compliments on the Art Mr. Otter! There is a tutorial video you can download if you get stuck! Just remember to do it the way you might do it in real life, and you will do well.
This game not bad. I liked a visual and mechanic with time
Thanks a million!
I got stuck a few times trying to dig a path. The idea is interesting, but the game still needs some work
There is definitely some polishing that needs be done after the jam closes XD. Thank you so much for your feedback!
I'll be honest, I couldn't get very far. The digging was very confusing, you can dig out of the world, the character sprite flips very drastically and is not centered. The mechanic I didn't really understand. Also, the settings menu doesn't work, probs best to just remove the button. I think this could benefit greatly from a tutorial! If you add one, pm me and I will give it another shot! Best of luck!
Sorry to hear you have been having a tough with Talpa. It is certainly a bit rough around the edges in its current state. Some tips just to help you get a bit closer to the end!
1. You can always restart a level by pressing 'L' on your keyboard.
2. Most of the game involves cutting the wires you see on screen. Wires are connected from power sources to receptors that allow you to open and close the door to the next level.
3. Pressing 'T' will allow you to reverse time. As time rewinds, wires previously cut will be restored. You can use this to reconnect wires you previously severed.
Let me know if this helps!
Gave it another try, thank you for the info! I managed to get through the first level, but couldn't proceed after that. I kept getting stuck in the walls. I noticed that some of the wire cutting is inconsistent(for ex I managed to cut through the first wire and drop into the path and proceed, but I was supposed to reverse time and reverse the wire cutting so the door would open, it seems like the wire cutting didn't work.) I will say that there's def potential, just needs some polish and bug fixing. Maybe it would help if the blocks you destroy were actual blocks of terrain? Spelunky style? Feels like it would make the code easier.
I added a tutorial! The video is in the downloads section!
