So cute! I absolutely love the artwork! I agree with lux below, though I did get the hang of it as well. Overall very well done, clean and had a cool story bit to go along with it. Great job!

Hmm its not loading for me, using Firefox, gonna hold off on rating but regardless congrats on the entry!

Pretty cool! Quite fun trying out different combinations of stats! I'm an Atk Spd 10 enjoyer ;p. If anything just some audio for shooting/taking damage and would be super cool to have a simple upgrade system. Great job!

This is sick! I can't believe I almost missed it. The art is awesome, the abilities/upgrades are all unique and useful. The vibe is very solid. The only criticism would be to maybe add some juice for abilities/enemies spawning/getting hit etc? This was super cool, fantastic job!

Thank you for the feedback! Yes def need to fix  that one up. I had some art almost done but it got too close to the deadline lol. Def adding that in the patch.

Thank you!

Thank you! I think I'm mostly cutting off the project here, might do like my last entry and add a few small fixes and improvements to make it more interesting and playable. This DID get me super interested in enemy AI, so I might have to create a little personal project to mess with that! XD

Thank you for playing!

Pretty cute! Gave me vibes of vampire survivors. Would love to see more boons! The only bugs I saw were that you could go off screen , the boons could spawn behind the cave, and the speed of the player was not normalized, which made it somewhat trivial to go in a diamond pattern route and outrun all the little enemies. Good job!

I totally agree, wanted to add abilities and upgrades initially but ran out of time. Planning those for the update. Thank you for playing!

Already done, loved the art you guys did! Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing!

This is really underrated. I thought the game play was smooth, the mechanic was cool, but I didn't get the strongest vibe of time travel. I got as far as +Beosil did \/ below, that flying enemy was tough! Overall really solid. Great job!

Got a 1:30!

This is awesome! I love the idea and the gameplay/art/and sound all work together super cohesively. Feels like a flash game I would have played back in the day. It works really well! I actually disagree with the other commenters, I think the graphics were perfect for the kind of game you have. I dont know how they could be improved. I also second the other guy, an expanded version would be sick, maybe you have like a quota and can buy upgrades in between days? Great job!

Thank you for playing! Yeah my art skills were out in full view on this one XD. I plan on getting some practice in before next jam!

Thank you for playing! Are you saying the controls are bit weird? If so I totally agree. I don’t know why I decided on enter to attack and mouse lmb to navigate the menus lol. I’ll add some remapping of inputs in the patch.

Thank you for playing! And yes I def agree, the last level gets pretty tight on time, I’ve only rarely finished under 1:00 and that’s with optimal pathing. I did want them to get harder and harder, but I think the last level gets difficult not due to the combat, but the time and hunger. Worth a look in my patch. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you!!! I’m glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for playing! Yes I 1000% agree. I ran out of time for the boundaries and that was rough. I even added some destructible objects and planned to add some static objects but they just never became quite clean enough to implement. Thank you so much for the feedback. Adding to my post jam update!

That’s the life for game jams 🤣, don’t worry everyone cuts stuff constantly to complete the project. It’s actually kind of a blessing? It teaches us how to conclude a project in a limited time span. Best of luck in your future endeavors. Following!

I love this, will definitely take this into consideration in my update! Thank you for playing!

Thank you! I 1000% agree with the more gameplay bit, that was my sadness. Originally planned for levels every 100 years with upgrades in-between. Ran outta time :(

Dang you got MURKED! lol. Thank you for the comment,  the character style is purely because I dont have the art skills for anything else lmao. Maybe I should add a pacifist ending ;p

Pretty cool! I got 8350 spare coins, and 12 S-Ranks earned. Honestly I loved that it had a complete game loop! It was a bit finicky with the waves where it spammed bananas, but overall quite good! Felt good to play and have no further complaints!

I love the idea, and I'm a sucker for a good gambling game. However I struggled to understand what I was supposed to do? I tried multiple things but just couldn't get the game loop going. This feels like a game that could be great if it had a tutorial. But currently, I'm struggling.  *** also the music is very loud, not a critical change at all but might be worth dropping the db a bit. Regardless I can see that there was a lot of effort put in. Good job!

Thank you! I will report back with my new record ;p

Honestly one of the tougher parts is making sure it works on the platform you want people to play it on.  I keep getting bugs every time I submit for these jams XD. Let me know if you update and I’ll play again!

This looks and sounds really good! I like the art style. It gets difficult quite quickly, so maybe an adjustment of the difficulty curve would be useful? Otherwise pretty solid! Good job!

This is pretty sick! Why does the music go so hard and the ending get so wholesome?! All I could ask for would be some UI. Good job!

The moment I detected an incremental I was hyped. Honestly feels really good to progress! The swoosh when you collect your bananas and the number go up. If there was more upgrades I'd have kept playing! It would really benefit from some animations of the numbers and juice! Really good job. Interesting interpretation of the concept. ***Also my wife wanted me to add, she really loves the banker gorilla in the suit!

This is tough. I have a soft spot for text adventures, but I can't quite tell how to progress. I would say my best opinion would be to fix the window resolution, and add some animations to the text. For ex like a typing animation from animal crossing or any other visual novel / old school rpg. I wish you the best!

This feels nice to play, and satisfying when you learn and get good at the mechanic. I would love to have seen another level or two, BUT it's a game jam so I get it lmao. PM me if you add any more, I'd love to play-test! I will say that the horizontal scanner(?) line in the shader was quite distracting. Maybe a smaller one would have a better effect? Regardless great job, everything else feels smooth and the concept is quite cool!

Cute little platformer! However I collected all the fragments, but nothing happened. Cute base, but def needs some stuff to feel more complete. Maybe a win screen? Regardless congratulations on the 2nd game! It always feels great to get a complete project. Best of luck!

I don't quite understand what to do. Also, the 1 & 2 dont (seem?) to work? W & S = look up & down, dont do anything from what I can tell. I went to the left and explored to the bottom of the cave. For what its worth the mining worked good, but I dont know what I was uncovering. I trekked back to the start, but couldn't get any further.  I think as a system its alright but def needs some polish and clarity! Best of luck!

This is sick! I love Pico. I did find a bug: its possible to get stuck in the first room by meandering about. Once you get to the room w/ the enemies, its a fun puzzle to move and shoot! Good job, can def see this being expanded into a lengthier game!

I wont rate because its a bit big for the average person to download. I would download, but there's not much info on what this is. Makes it seem sketch. Sorry! A web version would def be better for a jam.

All love, it really felt really good up until that point! Def would have kept playing. And I get it lol, right there with you! The time crunch is killer. Gotta prioritize!

This is absolutely sick! I kept re-trying until I got some progress! I love the art, the atmosphere, mechanics, vibe, etc. It all works really well and feels cohesive. The only thing I can say is that it was a bit confusing INITIALLY to find out where I can go. For ex the doors leading to other rooms blended in really well with the background. Literally everything else was super cool and  spot on. Best of luck and rooting for you guys to win!

Honestly, I really liked this. It felt like with a few things it could be turned into an indie horror. I'll be honest, I couldn't figure out what to do to cross the road, but it felt very eerie. Also the goofy ass art lol. If I had to leave a criticism, it would be that the english translation was a bit rough. I really had a good time, I'm not certain on what the story was, but I would have continued playing if I could have figured it out(I died 6 times). Good job!
