Thank you so much for playing! <3

Thank you for the criticism!!! 1. Humanity healing was one of my most back and forth ideas. I wanted to add it, but I also wanted humanity health to feel critical. Like you should sacrifice your ship before letting it go down. 2. I 1000% agree. I actually wanted to add a few support ships, like shield cars, drone cars, and better ways of managing them. Alas, time crunch got me lol. 3. Yeah I noticed this as well when doing my test runs. I’ve tried thinking up ways to solve this, but without a revamp of UI I really don’t know. My best guess would be to zoom out slightly and move the train car UI to the side of the page instead of the bottom. Let me know if you had any ideas! Thank you again for the comment. I really appreciate criticism as it helps so much to hear your experience as opposed to my own and my wife’s 🤣. It’s really what I value most about these jams.

You def had content. More than enough for a game jam tbh. I only want more because the idea and implementation was so solid! I finished the game but wanted to fight more XD. It's a constant struggle and you should absolutely not feel bad because you had a perfect amount of content for a jam player.  (I just like it and want to play more lol. lmk if you need a playtester!!!) Also thank you for playing! I really appreciate it.

I did update the game, but it was purely to fix 2 "bugs". Nothing else changed. The 1st bug was the overheat alarm would keep playing even after you died if you died with it active. The 2nd "bug" was the tutorial said to click and drag cars to re-arrange them. I was planning on adding this but ran out of time, so I adjusted it to "click the arrows".

Thank you so much! I love existential/eldritch horror and I'm actually considering keeping the setting around and making a horror game in the same setting lol. I really appreciate it! <3

I did not lol! I've been making little projects for about 10 years now, except lately I've been pushing myself to actually make COMPLETE ones, if that makes sense? I'd work on something for months and it would just be a somewhat functional prototype. That's why I'm participating in jams, the time limitation really makes me think "WRAP IT UP. FINISH IT" If you know what I mean XD. Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I truly appreciate it.

Cool idea! I agree with GamingMakesFun below \/, I think a good solution to this would be to show the list of passengers as a descending list, with passengers soon to depart at the top, and passengers on for more stations at the bottom. Also another QOL, would be nice to have like a HUD that shows how many of each profession you have. Overall cool little game and congrats on the submission!

This is such an interesting submission. As a horror fan, I really loved this, and it legitimately inspired me with the idea. However If I had to leave a constructive comment, it would be that It got pretty easy to max out your stuff very early on. Because of this the levels started feeling like just click constantly and wait for the narration to allow you to continue. I think it would be super cool to have multiple little mini-games that you play in-between story beats, inspired by events happening in the story. Anyways good job, very cool! And congrats on the submission!

Pretty cool idea!! I can totally imagine this as a couch co-op hectic kinda game. It would be cool if swerving the car left and right affected the player trying to solve the puzzles, like moved the camera around or something. And if while the player was repairing, it affected certain bits of the car, like speeding it up, slowing it down, or making it so you have to manually turn. Overall a really cool implementation of the theme and special object, great job! (p.s. I was solo so I had to beat it down on my own lmao)

Pretty cool! I think it would greatly benefit from some sound effects and some random generation of obstacles, so you can keep going forever. Maybe a leaderboard? Congrats on the submission!

I like the core loop of swapping back and forth. I stockpiled up coal next to the furnace to try to optimize a little. I have 2 comments: Zeus, I love you. Poseidon, I hate you. Congrats on the submission!

Really cool and polished game! I really love your implementation of the "Engine" special object! I do think in certain occasions I got stuck and had to reload the game to look at toggys instructions again as I did them slightly wrong. Like printing "Hello World" instead of "Hello World!" and setting int x = 7 instead of int x = 2. Maybe allowing you to pull up toggys instructions would help? Overall cool game and congrats on the submission!

Cool little game, I had a fun time playing through and getting the different endings. Congrats on the submission!

Cool concept! It would honestly be pretty cool if the car would drift when making sharp turns, I think it would make the game a lot more satisfying. Congrats on the submission!

This was super cool! You made an absolutely perfect choice w/ the music. Felt very on edge and wanted to keep that little plant alive! I also love your implementation of the errors minigame. I think having the bug chase you is such a simple but fantastic way of keeping the attention and fun of the minigame. Great job and congrats on the submission!

Those dang axe dudes jump-scared me. Really insane to go for an art style like this on a game jam, but you did it and it worked out great! I absolutely love the voice-lines for all of the guys. It was cracking me up the whole game. Congrats on the submission!!!

Very cool little game! I had a fun time mapping out the area and trying to find the optimal route. I did not find it lmao. I like how you interpreted the theme. Congrats on the submission!

Great job and it's always difficult to make a puzzle game under time constraints. But you did and this one holds up great! I had a good time playing it and I love the farmy vibe. Congrats on the submission!

Cool little idea! I like the gameplay, but it was a bit counter intuitive to use D to go Left and A to go Right. I get why, but for the player's ease of use  Ithink that should be swapped. Also it was very hard, or maybe I'm just bad lmao. I did not manage to complete the course with all gates, max I could get was like 5. Regardless congrats on the submission!

Wow I love the art style! Very solid to play, in like a weird way it gave me flashbacks to Superhot? Anyways great job and congrats on the submission!

Great job!!! The combat is very satisfying, I love the slo mo and vibe of it all. I really have no comments beyond more! I want more! Congrats on the submission!

Very cool! It reminded me of those old flash games but in the very best way. I love all the art and the hand drawn vibe. You really did a great job making it all fell cohesive. Congrats on the submission!

Very fun game play loop! Quite a high skill ceiling but in the best way! It was very fun to learn the best ways to pilot the ship and smash asteroids. Good visuals/sounds etc for the style you were going for. Great job!

Pretty cool! I agree with kroko below \/: Aiming the turret would really help it be more cohesive. Also, I seemed to get a bug where the zombies were getting stuck behind my blades and constantly attacking the truck. Regardless good first game and congrats on the submission!!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much for playing!!! I think that was one thing I should have adjusted XD. 20 waves is quite a bit and it’s not really informed to the player when the ending is. I originally was going to have a simple little dialogue system for high command, “Captain be on alert, we are detecting a massive single gravitational distortion” etc. Who knows maybe I’ll update it! Again thank you so much!

Thank you for playing!!!

Thank you!!! I really appreciate it.

Also I tried to play your game but it looks like nothings uploaded? I hope it gets resolved and feel free to message me once it's playable, I'd love to give it a go!

Great job! I had to actually stop myself from playing more so I could rate some other games XD. Very strong submission so congrats!

Quite satisfying to play! I hate those weights lmao, best score I could get was around ~68k. Congrats on the submission!

This was very nicely polished! It was very satisfying both playing and watching him burst through the doors lol. Good job!

Thank you!!! 🤣

Voting takes place after the submission window is closed, from there voting is open for a couple days(a new timer will appear on the jam page) and then the results are tallied!

You made shard keeper, that was one of my favorites! Thanks for coming back and giving it another play, it means a lot!

I definitely am and would love to playtest, let me know when it’s uploaded and I’ll check it out!

Lmao I 100% understand, I saw a tip that I have to remind myself of often. To make your game shockingly easy for yourself, and it will be ~medium-hard for other people. It always feels ridiculous in dev, but I find it is very true lol.

Cool! I think the ducks movement was a bit fast, and I agree with Mopi an indicator would be nice, but Overall a pretty solid entry! Congrats on the submission! Quack on brother. (p.s. i love this:

)

Thank you for playing! I really appreciate it!

Thank you so much! That means a lot, truly. And if I'm gonna put my own music into a game, it better have a music slider lmao
