Cool game! Love the bosses, though should give people a warning about motion sickness.
The music is great, and the hit stop on the sword slash is NICE! The death sound is missing though. (Also a tutorial room would be nice)

Liked the game! It was really fun to play!

The game feels really nice to play. There are lots of little details, like the way the camera moves with the cursor and the text that pops up when bosses go into overdrive, that make the pacing feel really good. The final boss reminded me a bit of Mob Psycho 100, which was really cool hahaha

I didn’t fully understand how Judgement Slash works, but it was very satisfying when it landed. The only small thing for me was that the grainy effect during fights didn’t look that good to me, it felt a bit distracting visually.

Overall, great job, I had a lot of fun playing!

Thabk you all for the great reviews! I'm sorry that my rate of rating and playing all your amazing games has gone down significantly. School has had me in a recall chokehold but I'll make an effort to rate a bunch before the deadline tomorrow🙏🏿😁

You really nailed it! I personally like the visuals, sound design, boss movements and the way the camera tilts when the player moves. Great job 👍

Same to you! Congratulations

Wow! I enjoyed the UI and audio of the game. Since your HP is at your cursor and the right click gauge as well, it is easy to see in the middle of the chaos. Even though I didn't understand the right click at the beginning, after playing the game a few times, I started to understand it. I like how each boss had their own unique attack patterns and phases. It's also cool you used LOVE2D as well! I made my first game prototype using it!

Yeah the cursor was an intentional deaign element for clarity but it could've been done better. I'm glad that you enjoyed the game and I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to play it till the end, you're dope. I'm a big love2d fan, I would go as far as to say I love it!

Feels so good and the bosses are really well designed!

I was a little confused on how the right click worked the whole time tbh, idk if I ever used it correctly lol, but managed to kill every boss though

You can check out my game as well, I would love some feedback :)

Developer

Haha thank you for playing the game and I'll totally play your game, it looks dope from what i can tell. It's just that I'm at school rn so i don't have as much time but I'll definitely play

This was a really fun and polished boss rush game with great music and satisfying combat, and with a little clearer UI plus some extra feedback effects it could feel even better.

Nice boss rush game. I had trouble telling when I could use my sword and would like a small visual effect while dashing, but I did have some fun. The music definitely adds a good note to the ambiance too.

This feels so good to play!

Lots of juice in this one, congrats on the visual aspect. The boss are really well designed and the full screen text effect give the fights a lot of punch. The mechanic to lose hp while shooting too much felt a bit frustrating in my opinion and I had some framerates issues on the second boss, but other that that it's one of the best games i've played this jam. Congratulations !

Pretty fast paced boss rush style game, really enjoyed this one.  The music really gets you in the zone too.

This is not usually a style of game I like but I had a lot of fun. I was confused at first about where to read my stats vs that of the boss so there's that. I enjoyed having infinite ammo and diff types of moves. Great job overall.

The game is cool. The sounds add to the atmosphere. The visuals are also cool, they match the sounds. It just seems to me that the bullets aren't flying straight into the crosshairs, but slightly to the left.

Really fluid movement and juicy mechanics! I really liked the small text cutscenes when the boss went into overdrive. I was able to beat the current three bosses fairly easily so maybe an increase in the last boss difficulty for your next update to the demo. Some things that would make it juicier:

Add some particles/bloom on the player when he has sword charge.

Some more SFX and VFX for some of the enemies movements and attacks.

But that's just a limitation of time and game jam games. The camera movement was cool too and added to the juiciness of the fight. Great game overall!

I really like the little details with the movement and camera
