I was initially going to gloss over every aspect of the game, but I decided to delete that comment! (^^) I genuinely had a great time playing this, and I actually forgot it was a jam entry for a moment. The mechanics and design are so engaging! I’m really curious to see what you can do with this after the jam. You’ve got something special here! 👏
I absolutely love the concept of this game! (^▽^) The unique spin mechanics really stand out and add an interesting layer to the gameplay, especially how they’re integrated with the bosses keeps things fresh throughout. The visual design really enhances the gritty, darker vibe, and I think the art style complements the gameplay perfectly.
The only thing I’d tweak would be the player's movement or health to make the challenge a bit more balanced, but other than that, it’s a blast to play! (⌐■_■) I also think adding a bit more of a story or world-building could make the experience even more immersive, but that's just a minor detail.
Overall, this is a fantastic entry! Can’t wait to see how it evolves—keep up the great work! 👏
Playing as the liquid transformation is so much fun! (^▽^) The controls feel intuitive, and launching yourself around the stage while dealing solid damage is a blast. However, the humanoid transformation has a bit of awkwardness when it comes to shooting, which can be tricky during certain boss fights. But overall, it’s still fun to move around in that form. The rotating stage is a clever and unique take on the theme! (o^▽^o) The bosses are solid, the audio fits the action perfectly, and the visuals are detailed and a pleasure to look at. Solid game! (⌒‿⌒)
I remember playing the early versions of this game, and getting my hands on the final build brings a funny nostalgic feel to it. (´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`) I had a blast defeating every single boss! Not to mention, this was made in Scratch—super impressive, man! (ง •̀_•́)ง The music and art complement each other perfectly and really tie the experience together. (っ˘ω˘ς) The controls are fluid and easy to pick up. So far, out of all the games I’ve played, no other implements the spin mechanic as directly into the gameplay as you have. (⌐■_■) This is truly a jam entry to remember!
Really impressive mechanics! (O_O) The gameplay feels so fresh, and the unique elements really stand out. I agree that a few tweaks to player health and movement speed could make the experience even smoother, but overall, it’s shaping up nicely. If you take the time to expand the story and polish the mechanics further, this could become a seriously engaging long-term project. I can’t believe the timeframe you managed this in—great job! (⌒‿⌒) Also, a little volume control option would be a nice quality of life feature! (゚▽゚)
Haha, I remember giving a bit of feedback on this game! (^▽^) So happy to see it turn out so well. I truly enjoyed every bit of it! The 3D visuals weren’t over the top, but they were really well done. ( ̄▽ ̄)b The VFX were nicely thought out and did a great job telegraphing boss attacks. The second boss is my favorite (because he’s just like my second boss~). (¬‿¬) I really hope you make it into the top 30 and take this game even further! ☆⌒(>_<)
I absolutely love the yoyo physics! (^▽^) They took a moment to get used to, but once I got the hang of them, I was effortlessly cruising through the bosses. The first boss’s design is incredible—his laughter genuinely pulled me into the fight and made the encounter feel even more immersive. (≧▽≦) While the music isn’t the strongest aspect, it complements the game’s vibe well and enhances the overall experience. ♪(o^▽^o) Well done on bringing this game to life—fantastic work! (b^_^)b
I played The Sharp Elevator before voting began, and I loved it. I honestly expected it to rank much higher—it deserves way more recognition. The concept is awesome, the combat feels intense and engaging, the art is crisp and stylish, and the music ties everything together beautifully. Fantastic work all around!
The art might not be the best but it has a charm of it's own. The controls weren't hard to pick up and didn't feel akward. The bosses being vegetables and you fighting them in a kitchen was a nice thematic touch that really wrapped this game togehter. I had a good time playing and I give it a good rating overall
Took me a while to get used to the controls, but honestly, that challenge made it even more fun! (ง •̀_•́)ง The art is absolutely stunning, with so much personality in every detail! (°▽°) And the sound design? Super satisfying—every hit and movement feels so punchy! (⌐■■) Overall, an amazing game! (b^^)b
Really enjoyed this game! :O The boss designs were awesome, and the variety in their attacks kept things interesting. I came so close to defeating the 3rd boss several times—just needed a couple more hits! XD One thing I did struggle with was the camera, especially when switching between aiming and melee. I just realized I could’ve locked it, so I’ll definitely give that a go next time! Overall, super fun experience, and props to you for making this on your own—impressive! ^_^ If you get a chance, I’d love for you to check out my game too! :)
