It;s a really great game! Gamplay is great, art really simple and readable, sound is also nice!
Though in the begining make it so that they have to make a shape to start.

A few ideas to make it better.
1. If you want players to jump over a long pit, make it so there is breathing room.
2. Push the ball away from the spike to prvent dying again.
3. Limited balls, scince you can make a road or ladder out of it.
