Thank you! This means a lot coming from you!

Very good! The idea is as great as the execution. Nice difficulty curve, and good artstyle! Taking "placeholders" to the next level

Underrated because it's a downloadable

It's fun!

I love the concept! Congrats on the art, it looks cool as well

The only thing i'd change is zooming out the camera so you can see what's ahead better, especially at high speeds

I saw I wasn't the only one making a jungle themed 3d game and had to give it a try!

It's simple, but juicy and fun to control, very nice. I love seeing the aliens fall from the sky and sometimes get stuck on a tree

I was hoping you'd try it! I'm glad you loved it

I think there's something going on with Unreal Engine and Playstation controllers, because I specifically set up generic buttons so they'd work with any gamepad

Don't worry, Monmon's tail is magic and can extend and stretch without any harm. I'd be more worried about the giant spikes, arrows and boulders present in the temple!

V-sync is supposed to be forced on, but I didn't have time to check if it worked

This is a lot of amazing feedback! Thanks a lot

Yes we did make all the assets ourselves from scratch, except for the music.

I was definetly intending for a try again till you make it experience, dying a lot, but It turned out a bit too challenging

That specific part you mention on the second level is confusing. After jumping from the first set of spikes, you're supposed to head left, grapple on a root and jump onto a platform that has a banana to get through the arrows. The level is straightforward from that point on.

For the third level, if you could get past the falling balls and the twin bananas, you already won. There is a section on top that contains the ending.

Thank you for trying out the project and for the kind words! We'll keep all your feedback in mind for a patch fixing the game!

Happy to hear you enjoyed it!

I've definitely been a victim of getting too used to the grapple mechanics while playtesting, and thinking they were easier than they actually are.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Very useful for future projects

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't prioritize putting a respawn collision and ended up forgetting about it. I thought i'd be okay since you can respawn with R.

When we release a fix for the game, we'll make sure to add them along with optimizing the trees.

Thank you! Hopefully the second and third levels run better? I've seen people with no issue at all, and people who's computer can't even run the title screen 😭😭

I also love your game!

Thank you! We are more artists than developers so we just experimented with lots of techniques for the artstyle. Sadly we bit more than we could chew with the foliage, and the forest part runs poorly if you don't play looking down all the time.

Thanks for checking out our game, we are big fans of yours!

Thanks a lot! Glad to hear the game ran well on your computer!

This is my favorite game, simply because I love difficult platformers. The mechanic is brilliant and the messages are cool. I also love the art direction.

It's so difficult but it's ok, you can try again. (Except for the directional force fields, I hate them)

Wow! Fantastic job on the VFX then!

I can't believe our monkey parkour game has the exact same mechanic as a crane driving game but here we are.

Very cool implementation!

I fell in love with tha game simply because of the particles when hitting things with the wrench

Very good game overall!

Dude we made the same game! I love your implementation and story! Very polished overall

I love puzzle platformers that play with multiple characters! Very underrated

This game is a blast! Super fun and satisfying to play

Honestly, I got a bit sad when I realized the art isn't self made, but the assets are perfect for the game
(And the cover art is really good)

Really good game! Simple concept, but you expand on the idea so well!

WHATTTTTTT This is by far the most complete, most polished, and juiciest game of all! I can't believe you did this in only two weeks!

This is extremely underrated at only 11 ratings. I will be mad if it doesen't win

This is good! It even has multiplayer? I'd love to see this being worked on further

For a two week game, you NAILED the retro style, while having fantastic animations, very good puzzles, and a fantastic implementation of the theme. This is one of my favorites!

I love it! Props to HlodwigLoic and LucioleEnFleur, the game looks so pretty!

A game about breaking everything with your fists? Hell yeah!

This is fun, and a pretty cool way to implement the theme!

I really expected at least something from the wall, and nothing.

Fantastic game 10/10

This game is a little repetitiv- YOOO IM A CAR NOW!

Insane, I didn't even know you could make 2D games in unreal. My game is 3D only because I wanted to learn unreal making it

Yooo! An unreal game with a grappling hook! Just like mine!

It's simple but shooting while grappling is so fun!

Lmao the music hits so much harder than it needs to!
I got 55% completion

"You are imortal but the world no."
Tragic 😔

This game is underrated because you have to read the itch page to understad. Cool concept!

I really liked it! Very underrated. I loved reaching a flowstate where enemies line up for my fireballs.

The sound design is good, and the creatures are adorable!

It's such a shame it can't be played, it looks fun!

This feels so good to play!

I love it! A tower defense game is what I wanted to see come out of the theme given, and I love the chaos and powerless feeling this one gives

Muchas gracias!

Underrated game. I love the mechanic!

Thanks a lot! We are still beginners with the engine, and we learned a LOT working on Monmon.

Sadly, we had big performance issues with the foliage on level 1. We hardcoded the game to be at medium scalability, but it wasn't enough.
We'd love for you to play the full game, if we get around to releasing a second version that includes better optimizations and a settings menu
