Rated and left you a comment :)

I didn't expect an educational game, but I was pleasantly surprised!

The game is very polished, the visuals and audio work perfectly with what the game is going for.

Great job!

Thanks! I reviewed your game a couple of days ago already. I liked the concept a lot

I like the concept a lot, it kinda reminds me of Katamari! The game seems mostly pretty polished, just wished the bar at the button was more stylized since it's so an important part of the game.

As others have mentioned, eating felt a little weird, it didn't always match the red circle and if you spam space, the animation restarts and nothing gets eaten.

Also, I got to the point where the bar just lost some amount but the character didn't grow.

Overall a great idea, and  think it could be expanded on a lot!

Good work!

Hey! Loved your game! I'll leave you my game here if you'd like to try!

Loved the game, I enjoyed it a lot!

Love the presentation and how polished it all is. It feels like it could be one of the games in ufo 50

Hey! I really enjoyed the game, I wish it was longer and with more variety in dice/enemies.

Good job!

The first tower defense game I see this jam, and I enjoyed it a lot, up to the point it started lagging a lot :(

I loved the look of the game and the mechanic of using the pattern to summon towers has a lot of potential

I think the game also need a bit of balancing, I felt OP from moment one using only the barracks and tower.

Great work overall!

Hey! I can see the vision with the metroid-vania like progression and the combat.

But, the physics don't really feel that great, there are some jumps that I didn't know if I wasa supposed to be able to make or not (the platforms to the right of the first area) . The Combat is also feels kind of weird. I feel like it needed a bit more polishing.

I like the art a lot though.

Also, you can add a fade in for the step sounds, so the clicking noise will go away

Playing your game now! I'll leave mine here if you'd like to check it out https://itch.io/jam/game-name-game-jam-1/rate/4452105

Thanks!

Yeah, I've heard a lot of people had troubles with wall running, I've been testing out how it works in other games and I'll update mine to make it feel more intuitive.

As for the platforms out of reach you are the first one I hear that from. In the tutorial I mentioned that if you hold space you jump slightly farther, so maybe that's it? There are also some harder jumps, but those are in the second level.

It is possible to slide under all obstacles in a single slide, but yeah, I've seen people having a bit of trouble at first with this .

I think it being first person makes some distances harder to judge.

Glad you enjoyed the game!

And yeah, that was the intention of that little cutscene with the guy dying, thanks for mentioning it!

I love this games, the sound design is very satisfying, and I think that is what makes this game.

It is hard though

Hey! I rated your game!

Really enjoyed how part of the puzzles is just figuring out what to do, it kept me engaged through the whole game.

I loved the writing,I can tell you were having a lot of fun with it.

Good job!

I tried Cyclops in the past, but  ended up ditching it for blender lol, it crashed way too much. In trenchbroom you can just texture the brushed automatically, so that's what I used. I wanted to add decals and stuff around the maps, but I ran out of time, so I didn't even look into it

Feels so good and the bosses are really well designed!

I was a little confused on how the right click worked the whole time tbh, idk if I ever used it correctly lol, but managed to kill every boss though

You can check out my game as well, I would love some feedback :)

Thanks!

Yeah, it seems it's not clear where to to from that last jump, I'll have to fix that

I used Trenchbroom (for the first time) There is a great addon called func_godot, which lets you integrate trenchbroom and godot, and it works perfectly fine.

Yes, I should add that option :)

Hey! I rated your game :)

Hello! I liked the approach you took with the game, you definitely nailed the surrealistic aesthetic!

I just couldn't get it to work. I'm guessing it is supposed to grab the thing with the hanging chord, but I couldn't do that

Maybe I was doing something wrong though

Hey! I already played your game a couple of days ago!

Hey! I played your game on the first day!

I liked the style a lot. The game is very polished as well.

The incremental part of the game is really well though out. I like the grid concept a lot instead of just clicking something or just waiting for the money to be generated. It gives it a layer of strategy.

I think the game could work better without the beginning part. I type enough code for work/games as it is 😭

But overall great work, I enjoyed it a lot

Game was fun, I played through the whole thing (without getting the collectables though)

I like the concept  a lot, but I think the controls don't feel intuitive to me. Also, having some background music would be nice

Rated!

It was a fun game, but the motion blur and other effects gave me a bit of motion sickness :(

The store bugged out for me as well, I bought the bat and ended up with a ak47.

Overall a very original and funny concept

I loved the game! We really really different approaches to similar concepts. Made all the way to the end and enjoyer it a lot!

My ps5 controller didn't work, but keyboard and mouse work just fine as well

Hey! Loved the game! My favorite parts was watering the plants! It is crazy how such a simple game can be so much fun! Maybe next time I would add more flower!

Jk..

Loved the twist. You nailed the "fake cozy game but its actually horror" at the begging of the game, and I feel the twist with the quit button was executed perfectly.

As for the game itself, I can see a slenderman inspiration. Even if these are not my types of games, I can see it did all it needs to do perfectly. Good job!

Hey! Playing your game now!

Would love some feedback as well!

That was a very touching experience. It was great from beginning to end

Your writing is great and the execution was great as well.

Good work!

This is my game so you can rate it as well!  https://itch.io/jam/game-name-game-jam-1/rate/4452105

The controls feels little clunky, and it is very difficult to tell what is going on imo.

Idk if it an rpg maker issue, but the game is not running smoothly for me
