Hey! Just gave it a try.

I think the premise is great, running from time. I love that you use the car alarm extended reprise as the intro song. It gave the start a profound sort of feeling.

The symbolism is interesting and thought provoking.

I suppose my critique would be, I didn't find the monster that scary. To reference another from this jam, the flower from Flowers Don't Die scared the absolute hell out of me. I just didn't feel the same way running from time.

Overall, I had fun and I think it's an interesting game.

First of all, I really like the PlayStation theme for your cover art, really cool! Second, that clock scary as heck bru. The model not even lowkey that scary but something about the sound of it ticking is just very eerie, and also the way it's presented probably also contributes (the door knock following the "run" text). For some reason, I get a .NET assemblies not found pop-up every time I open the game. The game still runs but that popup shows up everytime ion kno why. Also I did find it slightly furstraiting trying to go fullscreen in the begnning because the application starts windowed and when I press esc to try and move my cursor to fullscreen it also skips the cutscene. Additionally, when I use esc to go fullscreen in game the cursor stays unlocked and visble until I press esc again which can be annoying. I'm not sure if you plan to continue this game so not sure how valuable these critiques even are but I do think that the idea is very interesting and expandable. I like the idea of having surreal landscapes and having to collect objects in order to face your fear later. You could have so many different levels with completely different vibes and tie it into whatever story you wanted to. It does seem a bit random to collect people, but maybe that's just part of the surrealness. Totally expandable and up to your vision. Overall great game!

The clock was weirdly terrifying but I didn't really understand the concept of the game. I like the text and I can tell that there's some deeper meaning behind it but, again, I was just kinda confused. Thanks for sharing!

what an interesting game! i was a tad bit confused where to go at times, the typing part was alright but i didn't understand what was going on, being harassed by that clock throve me crazy! lol, good luck with the rest of the jam!

Wow that mood really worked well ! It gave me some backroom vibes, really effective :D

The sound when you get caught plays twice sometimes, and it's very loud x) I had to lower the volume because I got killed a lot !

Anyway, your game is REALLY creepy, but in a good way ! Good job :)

I liked your game and its aesthetics; it's very beautiful and reminds me of several games in this style. Congratulations! :D

Hello! I liked the approach you took with the game, you definitely nailed the surrealistic aesthetic!

Very nice atmosphere to the game! I don't play these kinds of games too often so I don't really have anything to compare it to. But the movement, fog, and camera bob effects were well integrated for me. Some feedback:

- You already fixed it in your future updates but I'll just write it here for future reference just in case. In my first run I collected the 3 people but then realized the clock was not chasing me. It got stuck somewhere and I was running around for a bit trying to figure out what to do

- In the second portion with the people, I wasn't sure what to do for a couple minutes until I finally noticed the people again. I just kept dodging the lasers.

I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the first part of the game to the second part of the game. Though it does lose the horror feel at the second part. It's fine if you're going for a more abstract horror type of game. Again, not usually an audience for these games so I'm not sure what clicks here.

Overall a good job! Nice atmosphere, got me scared in the first half.

Nice game! I love the visuals! Love the abstract presentation of fear! However, you should add a way to manage the game volume, I understand it was for the sake of scaring player, but it might break their speakers/headphones lol, Great job!

Very interesting game.  At first it felt like it would just be an indie horror title where it's mainly about the jump scares and running away from something creepy.  I'll admit I found it a bit frustrating dying repeatedly and hearing the scream sound before I figured out the geometry of the place well enough, but I made it through that section.  Then afterward it morphs into something very different, very "games as art" and introspective and even weirder than the initial section.  I liked that later part more without the pressure of getting chased around, but I understand the pressure of feeling like that was something you were trying to express and was important to the piece.  Overall I really liked it, super creative and interesting.

Also, wow, you made a lot of level geometry and content for this.  Highly impressive.

Thanks for playing!!   Around half of the development time was spent doing level geometry and hunting for assets, I'll probably stick with MeshInstances + generate static body child  and Trenchbroom if  I were to make a future map + now I have a huge bank of assets.   I enjoy it when people experience my  weird games that  subvert expectations :)
