I like the theme you went with & I think the presentation overall is really good.

Including the structure of a session having Scenes, Pitstops, and a Showdown is an excellent way to set player expectations and give GM's a tool to help their players keep the action moving.

I like the main resource being Drive. I especially like that players can share it by telling each other in character what they respect about each other. It's a very fun detail to include. I also like the GM getting to collect Breakdown as a resource. I think it's a nice balance between GM's not getting to crit, but rather getting this other thing instead.

I really like the breakdown between personal stats and car stats. I do feel that maybe 8 is just barely too many. I think you could potentially combine all attacks (Strike and Shoot) into a single stat and then you'd end up with 7 stats, 4 personal and 3 car.

I'm not sure that you clarify exactly how your character gains advances in the document. I see them listed on the character sheet. It's very possible that I missed it somewhere though.

I enjoy the progression of the adventure you've written quite a bit. It definitely mimics the way the Fast & Furious franchise has had to go absolutely bonkers by continually increasing the stakes from what was originally a fairly normal movie about cars.

Great job!

This is a whopping 44 pages! It has really everything needed to play it, including a very detailed GM section, and a three act storyline for a few-shot.

There are a lot of small things reinforcing the theme (e.g., the ressource is called “Drive”), and the characters all have a unique feel to them.

A feel a sensitivity reader might have some comments (e.g. on Grandma Cheng), though the game is careful to discuss stereotypes.

Would love to play or run this at some point.

This looks a lot of fun to play. The havoc engine and racing work really well together and clearly a lot of work has gone into this.

One bit of feedback, with "The Outer Limit" I'm not sure about framing Hormonal as an injury and implying it makes you stupider. I think I would feel uncomfortable with that in play and to me at least it feels sexist.

Thanks for the feedback, and good catch on The Outer Limit. We originally intended it as something exemplifying the 'moody teenager going through puberty' trope with the idea being we were all a mess of angst at that age that led us to making some pretty poor decisions, but didn't necessarily consider that, with her being female-presenting, it could carry additional implications. We're planning a second pass over the game after the jam following feedback and additional time to re-evaluate and will definitely add that to the list of things to look at to see if we can make changes to make the original intent clearer

Really fun idea to swap out Blood for Drive, add car stats, and do a very silly adaptation of the latter Fast and Furious movies.

I also adore Granny Chen.

Thanks! She's proven to be a pretty popular character during our playtests, very high potential for shennanigans
