My weapons sometimes just disappear, and I couldn't move the map. But it's a funny idea how you approached the topic :)

Gameplay was really fun, could've used some music it felt so empty. keep it up

Enjoyed playing this and liked the twist on the theme of you having to protect your treasure from thieves. Great job!

great job it was hard I haven't beaten it yet but it's fun, when I first opened it I thought the skulls were the enemies I was attacked without doing anything other than that it was pretty good

I love that you also made a tower defense! Core gameplay loop is fun, but it doesn't feel well balanced. It feels like there are multiple enemy types (or the scaling is indistinguishable) with different HP but I can't tell them apart. With that in mind the trap (e3) is rather expensive for a one time use.

The poison damage is also interesting as it forces you to place towers in the front rather than at choke points (except for the e2 towers obv), but enemies are way too fast that it would matter.

With a simple 4 directional TD like this I could also imagine the towers being placed automatically facing the direction of the closest path with the option to manually adjust afterwards.

The standard tower could also be uniquely useful if it shot a piercing projectile, so it'd be much better at corners (which was my first thought).

There's obviously lots of potential here and lots to improve. I could expand on this list on and on. Let me know if you're even interested :)

Very good core mechanic. Enjoyed it!!

I love TD games. It is interesting to move the towers around on each turn.  Having more variety or being able to upgrade the towers instead of putting more of the same, would be a nice addition to the game! Keep the good work, it have potential! Congrats on the entry.

Had quite a bit of fun with this one!

congrats on the game

thought it was good but ran into a bunch of bugs like mt towers randomly dissapearing and how the spikes did nothing but i liked the art and concept

Like how you can reuse the traps and just read in the comments that they have a durability so that makes sense why they disappeared.

Good job, I had fun :)

Cool game! I liked that you could reuse previously placed traps, but sometimes they would just disappear, maybe I was missing something. It felt like the enemies were too fast also, in later levels it became difficult handling all of them, maybe increase the amount of energy as you progress? Still, great job!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the traps disappeared because of their durability running out. Didn't have enough time for a visual effect or feedback  when that happened. That would def. make it clear! <3

Found the controls to be really easy once I read through them.  The mouse wheel is a touch sensitive.  its hard to get it in the right orientation sometimes.   I love the art its a nice pixel style.

Developer

yeah, the main game page and pause menu (bottom left button or P key) has the controls
I should've mentioned it on the jam page as well, next time!
