I thought the concept of stealing others traits was very interesting. I was able to get through the first fight and steal a trait in the process. After that, the game had crashed. I tried again and it did the same thing! Would be interested in playing a future version of this game!
Cool game! I was unable to progress after stealing during the second battle. It just halted all of my inputs but I was enjoying it up to that point! Also the music is awesome! Great job.
I liked the artwork and how it was integrated with the abilities. The text box with all the battle events etc was a nice thing to have given there weren't animations and polish for everything, which is understandable.
Maybe I got lucky but it felt like the balance was way off, I basically just pressed attack and won, I did steal 1 ability (colony) but I dunno what it did. I feel the binary decision to steal or attack is maybe a bit too limited, but an interesting experiment nonetheless.
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback, we definitely had plans to implement more interesting choices in battle but ran out of time in the end.
Cool artwork. My team also had a similar idea to yours.
Appreciate the kind words!
The art and concept is interesting. The fact that this is turn-based should be made clearer. I was expecting "attack" and "steal" to be through physical movement and attacks at first.
Makes sense- Thanks for the feedback!
