I didn't manage to finish the first level even after using the spoiler...
I liked how the clues were revealing gradually but I still didn't know what to do after third one. I am not really a puzzle games player so it's maybe just my problem. :D
Nice visuals.

Elwizz! Thanks so much for dropping by! Yes, I need to put more time in making the solutions a bit clearer. This is wonderful feedback. I appreciate it.

Haha - Okay the first level took me a hot minute, when I eventually discovered it you really got a "aha" moment. Great job, some cool bones to this one!

Hey hey flyingrollercoaster! Thanks so much for dropping by and playing the game. I really appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoyed it. Very much looking forward to playing your game! :)

I didn't like it. The player should understand how to play your game. In the first room, the head in the upper left corner is a box that needs to be placed on a slab, not a UI element. Furthermore, it turns out you need to press E when you reach it. Overdifficult.

The life counter is weird. If you lose, you start over. What's the point of all this? Remove this counter and just restart the room.

The double jump is poorly implemented. I managed to jump only once out of five times. A jump on W and arrow keys wouldn't hurt.

I didn't get past the second room.

Epigrodel! Thank you for taking the time to stop by and play. I appreciate it!

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy it. Yes, the overarching feedback towards this game is the difficulty behind the puzzles. Very much looking forward to improving this.

Thank you for the feedback on the head in the first room! I’ll review this as well. Interesting take on the lives system! I’ll certainly consider removing it, as it’s not extremely essential beyond level 1.

First time I’m hearing this feedback on the double jump. I’ll investigate. Appreciate you and thanks again for your game as well. :)

The art style is really cool! I know how hard drawing can be, so I respect that a lot. But I couldn’t pass the first level XD I spent like 7 minutes trying and still couldn’t figure it out, even with hints and looking at the comments for help.

Thank you HappyNE! Yes, this is the ongoing trend it seems. Certainly a learning lesson. In case you don't want a spoiler and wish to revisit this project in the future, I've added to the description the disclaimer that the game does include 4th wall type solutions such as interacting with the UI or interacting with things you typically wouldn't interact with.

Regardless, when I'm back home, this will be my top priority to make it so that the solutions are more apparent.  Thanks again!

Looks good, alas I couldn't get past first level. I tried a lot and realized we could do double jump but couldn't figure out the solution.

Developer

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m beginning to think I may have made the game a bit too difficult to solve without further guidance. I appreciate you leaving the feedback! Looking forward to to improving the experience. :)

It happens especially since its your first game

You can give me a hint and I would love to play it further

Developer

Sure! Without spoiling it, the “Use Your Head” and “You can handle it” is also quite literal.

E to interact :)

honestly I still don't have any idea

This is really good feedback on difficulty scaling for me in the future. Thank you Ulysses

Do we really have to jump or I am missing something in the second level. One thing it would be better that I start from same room instead of the starting of game.

Developer

The solution isn’t jumping. Similar to level 1, the solution requires out of the box thinking. The message above is most important.

I still don't get it I need more hints.

Hey my friend. First of all, thanks for coming back to my game. I appreciate you. Secondly, based off your feedback and the feedback of others, I think the best route here would be improving the clarity of the puzzles and their solutions. Once I’ve finished doing so, I’ll kindly shoot you back a message. This would be better than giving the solution and more hints out over our comments. Thank you once again for the feedback!

Cool visuals, they reminded me of Dark Souls-style games. I spent about five minutes just trying to get the jump timing down (it feels a bit too tricky), and eventually I managed to land where I needed to go. The prompts like 'USE WHAT you have,' 'use YOUR head,' and 'you can handle it' felt more confusing than helpful in the moment

Knoxy! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! I appreciate the feedback! I’ll look into making the movement a little less sensitive. I’ll also reconsider/revise any potentially confusing verbiage! Trying to go for a blend of inspirational/clue-giving. Thanks again! :)
