Sick game! Super fun gameplay and vibe! I totally want a local/online co-op game of this :D
Reminded me of the disc battle in Tron.
Well done!
It was definitely inspire by Tron :)
Player vs Player might come after the jam maybe. Depends if I have time.(Currently working on my main game)
Thanks for playing!
Wow, amazing results in just 3 hours! Maybe pause key should be closer to WASD or duplicated somewhere near it (e.g E)
Yea it was on the "Q" key but I kept pressing it by mistake so I moved it to "P" as i thought P = Pause.
The fact that the art is just basic shapes gave me a lot more time to build the game. I would not have been able to make this if I did better art.
That being said I do like how its looks :) Kind of a retro arcade vibe.
Thanks for playing 💚
Really nice game and congrats getting it done under 3 hours.
Thanks 💚
A lot got cut due to time but im happy with it.
Really nice theme and variety of levels. The after image effects are cool and sounds are satisfying to play
Thanks for playing and the feedback 💚
Had more levels planned but ya know. (3 hours goes fast)
Great game! I really like the music with the fighting, and the main menu was very cool! I really like the different maps; there are endless shapes you can make! Maybe a level where the AI is on both sides of you would be cool!
For that last big map, it looks like the AI shoots a 2nd shot before their ball comes back. Is that expected? Or is that rule only for the player? That caught me off guard a couple of times.
Overall, great game, thanks!
Hey thanks for playing my little game.
The AI on each side is a smart idea and one I didn't think of so thanks for the idea.
Last level is a"Hard" AI as a bit of a challenge. It can use 2 discs at once. Was meant to be harder but I am not sure if it was lol
Was also going to be a difficulty option on level select that allows multi discs but time got away from me so I just added that 1 level.
Nice game! Funny and the level design is pretty cool, even just using simple shapes!
Thanks for playing!
Yea simple was my goal for the jam and even then I had to cut stuff.
cool litle game!
The AI is a bit simple to defeat I think, but it's still fun!
Yea its just a simple move to random position every X sec but as a quick jam game i didn't want to spend time making a big AI brain.
Little game Little AI Brain lol.
Thanks for playing tho.
Very well polished. The minimalistic art works well and the gameplay is pretty intuitive. I did once encounter a glitch where for an entire set of rounds my character moved to the top left corner and I could not control movement, but I think that was a fluke because it fixed itself. Nicely done! Impressive that you kept it under the 3 hour mark
That is a strange bug :)
Happy it sorted itself out tho.
I had a player vs player added to the game and more levels planned but had to scrap it all to keep under the 3 hours unfortunately.
Thanks for playing.
Yeah, it's really hard to keep it under 3 hours. I planned as much as I could before starting and I still couldn't get it all done. I suppose we can always do a little extra work on the games when the jam is over if for no other reason than to practice.
I guess this jam is doing its job at helping us manage the game plans and scope.
Very fun and intuitive game.
It's the kind of game where a versus mode would be really cool; I could easily spend hours playing with friends.
I found it quite challenging (in a good way).
Hey thanks for playing my game.
I did have a player vs player added in but had to scrap it due to time and bugs.
The last level is hard as the AI has 2 discs.
