Once I got used to the controls, I loved how "slick" it felt when I hit those precise angles to the checkpoints. I had fun, want to get better, and want more levels!

Really enjoyed the slowdown mechanic from those clear orbs! It feels very satisfying when you hit one in air and are able to reorient yourself before boosting towards the goal, and it does make it stand out a bit from other fast-paced orb games like Super Monkey Ball or Marble it Up. Also a fan of the aesthetics themselves, though the filtering did make the text a little bit harder to read, especially from further away (though most of the game doesn't use text, so it's not a major deal breaker). I also think that the level could've been designed more in a way that taking a shortcut wouldn't look possible, as right now I could fall off a platform and get faulted by a death plane, even though it looks like I could potentially land on a lower part of the course. Aside from those two things I enjoyed my time with this, hope you have a good day! Also feel free to take a look at my team's game if you ever get a chance to!

so fun, so slick. great level design. about only complaint is camera controls but even that doesnt really matter because when you are holding left click you can control it with A and D. great job representing indie city games!
got a time of 1:30 on my second playthrough

Pretty fun! I wish the camera was a little nicer but I like the look of this and it felt pretty slick and smooth to play. Nice level design.

I was right to go and check this game out! I saw it when it had three ratings, and it's great that more attention has been brought to it, as it's a really cool game! I like the monkey ball-likestyle of gameplay and visuals, although I think it definitely stands on its own instead of being an alternative to monkey ball. I found the controls to be a bit weird, though. The camera controls didn't carry over to the dashing mechanic, and I generally just went for dashing and turning instead of turning the camera. That was probably the least slick part of the game. The level also had a weird difficulty curve, where it was quite easy and then turned quite a bit more difficult. It didn't matter too much, but it was a bit strange. However, all the other elements are very slick. The dashing controls are intuitive and fun, and they aren't too punishing (although maybe they should be a bit more!) The graphics look cohesive (very important) and work well with the gameplay style, and the music is excellent. Good tune, great fusion-ish vibe to it! (I kinda think it would be cool to hear the soundtrack on it's own, very slick.) Good stuff!

Oh, and here's my score:

great feedback. the camera controls were basically an afterthought. we went for a long time with only the boost allowing you to turn- could probably have unified them better

That's kinda the vibe I got - still, it didn't hinder the game that much. The later sections of the level were really fun as a result of all of that turning and timing, seems y'all designed around it pretty well in the end!

Appreciated the smooth feeling controls and the presentation! It took a while to understand that I'm supposed to be boosting at every blue sphere, it made the game a lot more enjoyable once I did.

really enjoy the "QuickTime" gameplay, very different from most games in this genre

This was really tight in terms of controls, which time do you need to score gold?

The movement feels really good. I thought this was just going to be another Monkey Ball, but the charge shot felt unique and made the game much better. Overall, I rate this game... SLICK/10

The movements feel pretty smooth and we'll polished, even for a limited time game jam game! Great work with this one 👍
