Happy New Year, everyone! I just wanted to pop in and check in since it's been a while since anyone last posted in a community thread. So, how is everyone doing?
Things are proceeding well! I recruited some people for other roles in the game and I've set the deadline for finishing by the end of March rather than the beginning, because I didn't want to rush anyone and they're working on other projects as well. I still think it's quite possible the game will be finished before then, everything is looking very good
it's not looking good for me gang o7 LFJALSDJF on the bright side i've finished a lot on the not so bright side i dont think im gonna make it in terms of full release by the time the jam ends (feel free to drag me to the town square and stone me). i do have a goal of at least 100% completing the script by the time the jam ends so as long as i meet that i'm gonna take that win !
Oh I'm doing pretty well actually! I'm down to proofreading before I put all the text together and finish making the editable character sheets. My wife will then give it a final read to mark any clunky text for me; meanwhile she is proceeding with all the art! I think I'm ahead of her but we're on track 馃榿
Now I'm not great at making pdfs look good so it won't any more fancy than my others are, but I am good at making text and rules easy to follow, so I tend to just hope that comes through and I am forgiven for the simple nature of the design work.
I鈥檝e submitted Pig Chomp 1! This was an easier challenge since I had already made Pig Chomp 2, but I wanted to go back, finish it properly, and make it more challenging and fun in a different way. I managed to add two extra enemies that intelligently chase the player, which was a fun challenge—especially working within the limits of the free version of Construct 3
