Really clean game and I loved the aesthetic and the sound design, nice entry!

A little too hard haha but I like the idea and the originality!

A lot of fun! I found myself focusing on the Tetris aspect and hoping for luck with the piping.

A cool innovative take on the classic. I liked it. It pushes your brain in two different directions.

At one point some orpaned pipes became the source of water despite not being connected to the actual source. This felt like a bug.

I like the mix between Tetris and connecting pipes. At first I played it like plain old Tetris but I knew I was missing something. When reading the comments, I realized you can connect pipes, which makes sense. And then, all I wanted was to connect pipes. It’s definitely interesting to have to balance clearing rows to player longer and connecting pipes to boost your score.

Also, the audio is great.

Great submission!

Nice one! Cool twist on Tetris with the pipes and water flowing through looked and behaved in a really polished way! Congrats on the submission :)

Fun take on tetris. I will say the first I played I totally missed how to connect to water, but played a second time after seeing the comments in here and wanting to figure out what I missed. Once I figured out the water I cared about that more and then failed to clear any rows, but I think that is more a comment on I am terrible at tetris.

To be perfectly honest, so did I. The intent is to do tetris with some plumbing on the side, but still pipes are calling to me whenever I play it :D

This is a cool idea! I'm terrible at Tetris and I was so focused on getting the water to flow through the pipes that I scored 0 multiple times lol. I'm always impressed when people add quality of life features like music options in jam games. Very polished, well done!

This is a cool take on Tetris. It took me a bit to figure out all the shapes, but once I did, I could see the similarities. I really liked that you didn’t just change the shapes of the blocks to pipes, but had the pipes carrying water be an active part of the game. Trying to connect water from the bottom to the side outlets adding an extra layer of strategy that was a lot of fun. There were several times where I had a piece that was the right shape to fill a spot, but the pipes were the wrong way to connect water, and I had to make the quick decision as to whether or not I wanted to place it there.

I liked that you had multiple music tracks and that you could switch to a new song if you didn’t like the current one or wanted to listen to the last one again.

It would have been nice if there had been a fullscreen option. The game was completely playable without, everything fairly clear to see, but I do think it would have been a nice touch.

I also think it would have been a cool touch if you got an extra point or a different clearing animation for clearing a row that had water flowing through every pipe. Even though I knew the bonus came from connecting the water to the side outlets, I kept wanting there to be one for connecting water in every pipe in a row as well. It did look like there was extra bonuses for how many pipes the water went through when reaching the outlets, though I wasn’t 100% sure exactly how that worked.

Tetris is one of those games I tend not to get very far in, because I start to get a little bored with it. You did a really good job giving it an interesting twist that made me want to keep playing longer than I normal play Tetris games.

Frankly, I implemented the music switch buttons to protect my sanity. When finishing the game, I tested the game again and again, and hearing the same song every time (even though I like it) drove me up the wall :-)

I was worried the default itch.io fullscreen button would interfere with touchscreen controls, and didn’t realize I could probably implement fullscreen switch in the game itself.

Having different animation (and possibly a point bonus) for clearing a fully watered row is a nice idea. I don’t know if I am gonna go back to developing the game, but if I do, this would be something to do.

This is exactly what I hoped to hear :-)
