  • Hello! I felt like this was a really fresh take on a platformer. The combination of golf mechanics, platforming, and physics were a lot of fun! The physics just felt really satisfying. I had a lot of fun with this and needed to cut my time short so I could judge the rest of the games! My only con would be that I wish there was a reset button in the menu so I don't have to complete a level when I make a mistake, such as when getting all the tapes or getting under par. But other than that, this was a real treat to play! I'd encourage you to consider making a full game out of this concept if you wanted to, but this felt like a full game in and of itself. This definitely feels like one of those indie platformers that could have released around the same time and been as popular as Super Meat Boy or VVVVVV. Thanks for joining ShroomJam 2025!
  • TV Frozen Shrimp taught me how to love all over again Thank you gold team games

How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
The game is about a frozen TV dinner mascot who falls asleep infront of the TV. Each level includes various references to retro televison.

Really well done! The game feels super polished, and the concept of a golf-styled game with more player control through the float mechanic was really novel to me! Great work!

These shrimp fresh?

It's like lunar lander + golf lol. What a fun concept. Also really loved the sound and visuals. Awesome game!

Hi! I played your game and wanted to share some feedback.

I really enjoyed the 8-bit style, the graphics look fantastic. The sounds are great too, they are pleasant and not distracting. The music is very good, it never gets annoying over time and is enjoyable to listen to.

One thing that made the game a bit tricky is the pixelated text, which can sometimes be hard to read, and the text layout could use a little adjustment. Also, the controls feel a bit clunky at the beginning, but you get used to them over time.

Overall, the game left a very positive impression. Great work!

The retro visuals look great! Some parts are challenging, but the game stays enjoyable. Memorable experience.

There is a very nice amount of polish in this game! The mechanics ease you into the game quite fluidly, very good job to your team!

The idea of making a golf game using a fly mechanic is very interesting!

Looks great. The sound is great but it can drone through long dialog.

Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoy the tunes. You can skip through the dialogue by pressing X, but we probably should have stated that somewhere in the game.
