RATTLE ME BONES! very nice visuals, and some funi characters around

funi stuff, I died in the second level and lost my weapons, so just made a mad dash to the next level, final boss kicked my ass when up close, I love the way the dude rewards you at the end

I may had clipped myself out of the level (Got cornered, spammed jump and held back), overall, really fun game! Made it to like floor 3!

With judge's permission I have been allowed to update the game to fix that bug, so it should be sorted now!

Ah yes, the car was more of a gag, the thought did cross my mind about making a Battletoads speed tunnel themed section but their difficulty would probably make a lot of people unhappy haha

As for the dashing, it can be cancelled early with jumps!

And since the enemy locking was a bug, the judges allowed me to make a bug fix for it, so hopefully that should be sorted now!

Thank you for playing!

Ah thank you, I have updated with a fix for the soft locks (Slight time immunity after collisions), this should fix the soft lock scenario and also protect the player from consecutive hits, such as the boss stun lock!

As for the final boss, there is only one, so luckily don't have to worry about an alternative boss mechanic, thank you for pointing these out!

Ah yes, for the dashing it did not occur to me to make a tutorial or some sort of guide in regards to the directions, to put it simply:

  • Each level of shine changes how your dashes work
  • you can always dash in all 4 directions with the arrow keys/joystick
  • Shine Level 1 and 2 will take gravity into consideration
  • Shine Level 3 and 4 will ignore gravity, going straight onward

As for the "contiune", it was intentional! There was some Joel stream with bootleg stuff (cannot remember the context in detail) and the continue was misspelled, for some reason that has been living in my mind rent free haha

Thanks for the feedback! I shall work on those tomorrow evening, should I wait until the end of the game jam to update those changes or am I allowed to update it during the voting?

The visuals are stunning! The audio work is impressive too! This game kinda gives me that GBA vibe and hits me just right! Really well done to your team!

I loved the bucket mechanic! Boss on the second stage was a little bit too difficult, but fun experience nonetheless! The visuals are really appealing too!

The visuals are very well crafted! I am very mesmerized by the long hair physics!

This gave me a good laugh, pretty good dialogue direction!

Very charming visuals! And pretty creative puzzles! I don't know if it was a bug on the first level but my lasers weren't being reflected correctly at first, gave the game a restart and it worked fine so maybe I was just being stupid

Thank you! And sorry about the bug! I'll need to find a fix for after the jam is over, thank you for letting me know!

Thank you my dude! It did cross my mind recently that maybe not everyone is used to button smashing a single key rapidly, so will do some tuning by the end of today!

Quite a fun rogue shooter! The visuals are really nice and the tunes are sick!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! It was definitely lots of fun making it too

The correct amount of challenge! The visuals are very impressive and the music is quite catchy, great job!

Thank you! That was the inspiration for this (and as I've seen in this gamejam, for various of the entries haha), lots of great games around!

Quite an eerie atmosphere, would had loved to see more progress on it!

Very pretty visuals! Lots of little details to the animations that not many games tend to focus on! The audio is also pretty charming!

Pretty fun stuff around! I think this applies to every wario-ware-like (including my own) where certain minigames are confusing, but after a few attempts it makes sense, great job!

The visuals and their effects amazed me! Made it to the fall-guy platforming minigame and found it a little bit too challenging, but overall a pretty fun experience

Not gonna lie, I checked behind me every time I changed something on the TV, funi experience

Pretty clever concept! Had a fun time trying this one out!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The game is indeed quite difficult to grasp at first, so I'm happy to hear people are playing more than a single attempt!

It had a nice atmosphere, would had loved to see more progress on it!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Bunch of great games all around in this game jam!

This was a pretty clever idea and well executed! Having to think outside of the box for various of the puzzles made me feel big-brained, and with some funi twists around, great job!

Thank you! This game jam is doing a great job at saving us all from boredom!

Pretty clever idea, I've been loving these different-perspective games, would had loved to see more of it!

Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I've noticed that it's a bit confusing at first, but I'm glad people are managing to figure out the mechanics!

Love visuals! I love seeing some levels of chaos, this has a nice balance!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very clever mechanics! Would love to see more of it, it does get quite challenging at the end but overall it was a very pleasant experience!

Recently been getting into roguelike/lite shooters and this is pretty solid! Lots of fun, enjoyed the fact that you can somewhat manipulate the challenge which goes well with the rewards, and there's a bunch of great funi references all around!

Thank you for the feedback! And yeah I did notice afterwards that the initiation may be a bit confusing to figure out at first, will try to add some sort of tutorial after the jam is over, I'm very happy that people are managing to figure it out nonetheless haha

Thank you and glad you enjoyed it! I did notice afterwards that the fullscreen on the browser didn't work, only in the downloadable version :(

Haha yeah, I noticed afterwards that some people didn't notice the guests' need to be entertained, might add some sort of tutorial/indicator on the first guest after the game jam

That's the spirit! I've been going around the least-rated games to bring them up on sight, there's some good gems hidden around!
