Enjoyed it very much! I think the gameplay mechanic is really clever. Also really loved the cutscene and use of limitation!

I would absolutely call this a game :D Nice idea and solid implementation! Also great usage of Pico8. :)

Thank you so much! I’m really looking forward to the next jam, I learned a lot and have confidence with throwing something together now :)

Cool concept, would have loved to see the game be fully playable and for me to try it out again. Well, experience is where it counts.! Great job nonetheless.

Thank you!!

I never say no to a pico-8 game. I just really like the use of the limitation on this one! Definitely unfinished but that's life.

Do you know when a car is not a car?

When it TURNS into a driveway! yuk yuk yuk

Thank you!

Cool concept.

The idea to use your past bodies to block the vision of the gorgon is really cool! The retro aesthetics is also awesome!

Developer

Thanks!! I wanted to do a lot with it but ran out of time ahaha

Even if it's incomplete, it's genuinely a VERY good take on the theme! and like you said on the game page, it definitely helped you learn game dev too. Win win!

Also love that you can use the stone versions of the player as shields

Developer

Thank you so much!! :D

Great take on the theme. I would not have thought of medusa, I would genuinley love a full game of this!

Yeahhh the game is virtually nonexistent haha, I got down to the wire and decided to focus on the intro and menu rather than building out a level and a win state

It’s quite good, actually!

The art, (and game in general) has a strange charm to it, like a cute sewer rat.

It’s a shame you didn’t manage to make levels or a way to win, but I did enjoy the few minutes of wandering around I got. Maybe you could update it some day?

Nice work!

Developer

Thank you for the encouragement! ^_^ I kinda wanna move on to other stuff, but I'm so close to having something properly playable that maybe I might as well finish it.
