NOW this is interesting. I like the idea of using cameras an existing only through certain lenses.I t reminds me of Observation. I would not go from microstories but do it in an overarching story. That way its not a simple quick decisions but devolved into a lot of decisions that will cascade into various paths of a story. It even ties to what the IA is really doing since the player will start making attachments to the characters at some point while still playing as a cold machine.

Fun concept, but I fear it can become repetitive in terms of mechanics if the AI doesn't evolve at some point into giving more stakes to the story. I would love to see that in an episodic manner, where the overarching story of events happening in the house evolves with each choice based on your AI observations.

Gameplay can be developed through new mechanics. First, you can watch the cameras and make decisions, then you may have to try to access the phone or NPC device, etc.

What a cool idea. Reminds be bit of The Sims if the house they were in was sentient. Very novel and I could see some really interesting story ideas evolving out of this concept.

Thank you very much.

That's an interesting comparison.

Yes, you can really come up with a lot of ideas here, because there are many everyday situations in our homes.

Very fun concept, would've been cool to include  more about the general tone of the narration if intended and/or the voice of AI if it's not silent. I also think this type of game could benefit greatly from an overarching plot that ties separate episodes together. For example, recurring characters or influence of some outside forces that try to budge the player in certain direction to gain greater control over people's lives.

Thank you for your comment.

1) Yes, the narrative would take the form of a briefing from the main AI in the form of text + voiceover. It's more like This is Police.

2) You are right about the connected episodes, that would definitely be the case. Characters or events would intersect between episodes.

3) Random events that influence choices or force the player to make decisions faster — yes, that would also be a feature.

The task is not only to keep an eye on things, but also to make decisions and quickly assess events in different situations: from calm situations to stressful ones.

Interesting! I do like bottle narratives with unconventional, limited perspectives. It would help to be clearer about what the player is actually able to do; it's currently unclear what the player's options are to resolve each of the possible situations. But on the whole, a good start.

Thank you for your comment, I will try to answer it.

The idea is based on the fact that each situation requires studying information in a limited case. Here is an example.

You see on the camera that an unknown person has entered the house and you must respond within a certain amount of time

1) You can check if they are connected to Wi-Fi and try to read their correspondence

2) Try to check the homeowner's documents and find out if they invited someone over

3) You can simply call the police, but what if the call is a false alarm?

4) Or maybe call the owner and send him a signal that “the door is open” so he can go home.

In the first mission, the player initially gains access to cameras from different viewing angles and can not only “monitor the situation” but also search for information and clues to make the right decision.
