It's a nice little game but it could use more player feedback, even just mentioning in the book at retrieving items is automatic would make the game a lot clearer.

Thank you for your feedback and kind words!

I completely agree, mentioning information such as how the retrieval of items being automatic would definitely make the game clearer, and I do plan on adding these changes when I update the game.

Really cool idea, just the right size for a game jam game. The design of the ship, the equipment, and especially the monster was very good. The only problem I noticed is that you can no longer lock the camera once you press the Esc key. Really good game, I'm surprised that so few people have rated it so far.

Thank you for the feedback and kind words!

I did forget to mention this in the game, but you can lock the cursor by clicking the scroll button on the mouse, really sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I grew up by the sea. My father wasn’t a fisherman, but after he got into fishing as a hobby, our family would sometimes go night fishing together.

I always got seasick, so I couldn’t fish — all I could do was stare into the dark ocean for a long time.
Whenever I heard strange sounds from the water below, I used to wonder if some kind of monster might be living down there…

That’s why I really loved the atmosphere of this game! It was genuinely terrifying — I even screamed when I first encountered the creature!
I do have one small piece of feedback, though: it might be nice to have some kind of visual indicator for interactions.
Since it’s raining heavily from all directions, audio cues alone might not always be enough.

I’ll be looking forward to future updates — it was a wonderful game!

That is quite a cool story! I've personally never been on a fishing boat at night so it was cool to see that you were able to connect your experiences to the game!

I really do think that a visual indicator for interactions would make interactions more fun, and I am definitely going to implement it when I update the game next.

At first, I was a bit confused and didn’t know what to do—until I found the instruction manual. The game has a great atmosphere and exciting gameplay. That said, I think it would be better if you added some visual cues to the interactive items!

Thank you for your kind words and the feedback!

Visual cues would definitely make interaction feel better, and I'll be sure to implement it when I update the game.

It really reeled me in! It's entretaining and hard. I would been really helpful to have a sensitivity option but that also adds to the difficulty somewhat
Really neat game! I wanna replay it whenever it's more fleshed out and polished! it's surely quite fun!

I am definitely planning on polishing the game post jam, the settings page was quite rushed and I do plan on adding a mouse sensitivity option to the settings page.

The game's definitely interesting. It reminds me of fnaf and the golden era of its fangames. Though the game started off muted and bringing the volume up in the settings doesn't change anything, tried that for both web and windows version.I'm also not 100% how fishing works as I would sometimes just put the rod in the water, pull it out 5times and see the same item there 4 times, and a different one the 5th time. Did I get 4 of that one item or was I unable to retrieve it 3 times?

Aside from that the visuals are really nice and have a great vibe to them.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the  feedback and the kind words!

Not sure why the game started off muted, I've never encountered this issue before, but I'll be sure to check it out.

With fishing, retrieval is automatic, so you would have got the same item 4 times.

Ok, thanks for the answer!

Cool concept. Nice audio and aesthetics, and mechanics setup is nice too. It took me a minute to find the gun. I'm fishing but not getting the items needed for motor repair. After a while I got some round item but before I could check what it was, I got attacked. You may want to consider adding an sfx or vfx to communicate to the player when an enemy eel(?) shows up. Btw Windows 10 thought the game was virus. I had to disable real time protection and download the file.

Thanks for your feedback!

I'm not sure why Windows 10 thinks its a virus, the same thing happened to me as well when I tried to download it from itch.io. I'll try my best to fix it.
