Amazing creative direction. Toxic families can really fuck you up long term, huh
Stunning, one of the best games I've played this jam visual-wise. Was a little confused with the game mechanic of jumping around the maze, but to be fair I did not read the description LOL
Very good. Short yet sweet
Very polished sound is quite good, interesting way to do introspection, but it felt the character didn't have much control over what happens which I guess makes the gameplay play into the story themes.
A really interesting game overall! Though i didn't understand if there was any logic to the movements, or how to unlock more dialogue in any direct way. Still its a really cool story, nice visuals, and a unique mechanic! well done
I like the character art in this game. diving through subconscious is cool.
I love this game to death.
The visuals felt really sleek, and the way the story was presented was horrifying -- not in the sense that there was a monster, but in the fact that said horror is very familiar to many.
Jumping through rooms, windows, and crevices in her mind -- doing anything to avoid even just thinking of the people that made her miserable -- just to be mocked and abused by them again and again, even in what is supposed to be a respite, if only for eight hours: sleep.
Ana knows she can't really get away from this. The survivor's guilt will stick with her forever, and she'll keep jumping through rooms for as long as she can if it means she can avoid facing her trauma head-on for just another night.
She probably will never find real peace, and I think that's the scariest thing about this game.
Ugh, if I said any more, this comment would look like an IMDB review, but this game is just that good. Very, very, good job!!
omg the looks and sound of this game is sooooo good
Wow, this is fascinating adn very well executed. I am giving 5 stars on all accounts.
I mean You got great Asethetics, Creativity, Horror, Story and Sound Design. and I defintley enjoyed.
So props. I am defintley following!
If you get the chance i'd love if you could play mine aswell :D
Amazing art and visual design. I liked the effect of the red backgrounds and the treatment of that overall, and the dialogue UI! I found it hard to get invested in the story personally and just spammed left/right/etc until I completed the game.
Really interesting in presentation and specially story, given how there's no "monster" but rather just memories of fucked up relationships. Although I don't really understand how the map works, is each memory in an specific room or do they just appear at random when you enter a room?
Thank you for playing, and thank you for the kind words! To answer your question, each room is randomized along with which memory appears, so there's no constructed map of any kind. I track the number of times a player moves between rooms, and after each character's introduction dialogue, each memory is set to a random number that represents how many rooms the player must enter until it appears.
