Way too hard for me :) It would be nice if there were an easy mode or a way to replenish health or multiple lives. Something that will make noobs like me play and enjoy longer :)

The death animation was so charming! I think it's great for a first entry and I think you should all definitely keep it up. It was a little hard to see the bullets, I don't know if the blue bullets/pallets really stood out at the speed they were going.

That being said, there were some really good details that I appreciated, such as the progress indicator through the level and the aforementioned death animation. Little things like that really make the game feel great.

I really enjoyed that the rate of fire had the same bpm as the soundtrack. This tickled my brain in a good way. I don't know if this was intentional or not.  But pressing "space" at just the right time, made it match the music. also sick synth solo.

The art on this is really nice! I'm not usually good at these games, but I had fun nonetheless. Good job :)

The game was lacking a bit of balance and polishing. But very good work for the first jam

Fun! Great job for making your first game and in such a short time frame. Loved the music and the character sprites!

Functional is better than not playable! I kind of enjoyed it - I'm not good at these type of games but I lasted longer than usual. I think with a but of work and polish it could be a cool little game.
