What a sweet cozy game. I feel like all the small things brought it together. The closed eyes and particles when resting on the "warm rocks". The changing parallax background when mask swapping. Clean readable artstyle. Very nice!

Thanks, I agree about the controls being too floaty. If I had more time I would have liked to make the gravity a bit 'faster' and probably make the distance you could jump horizontally a bit shorter.
The checkpoint animation is the cutest thing!
I wasn't able to collect everything but finished the game.
Some places were a real challenge to complete!

Such a charming game! Great platformer that ramped up in difficulty nicely throughout the zones. The use of the mask mechanic was really well done and platform layout was well thought-out.

I loved it, the lizard is super cute, I loved how they rested on the warm rocks and the walking animation. The platform levels are quite ingenious and easy to switch between masks if you plan ahead, though some parts are a bit rage inducing, not gonna lie. The R key is your best friend, haha. Overall, fun experience, enjoyable atmosphere (relaxing music), good entry!

When designing the level I saw the later areas becoming pretty rage-inducing but didn't know how to fit my ideas in without it becoming a bit too difficult. So I just left all the difficult stuff in :). For what it's worth the original version had about half as many checkpoints in the later half of the game.
And yeah, R key is the best key.
Finshed it! Loved this submission, especially with the cute artstyle and the lizard. The mask switching mechanic takes a bit of time to get used to, but it became pretty fun solving puzzles with it. I do like that you offer a lot of options for the controls.

The screen-size being locked was an unfortunate last minute concession because it was midnight locally and we had just realized the menu's scaling had become broken at some point. I thought I just locked the aspect ratio but I guess the size itself was forced...
