This was a creative approach. Reminded me of Katamari Damacy. The first two levels were fun. The intro video was a creative way to introduce the gameplay.

The sound was so quiet, I had to creak my speakers up to the max and could still barely hear anything. If there was music I couldn't hear it at all. The last level I couldn't pick up some of the bones, and the difficulty increased a lot. I could not get on top of those trees no matter how hard I tried.

Really neat concept and it has a lot of potential.

Hey — really enjoyed playing your game! The aesthetic is lovely, and the way you weave in suspense with the mechanics kept me on edge. I did find a few parts slightly unclear (especially how some interactions connect), so clearer visual cues or prompts might help smooth that. But overall it’s polished and shows a lot of care.

If you have a moment, I’d love for you to check out my game and leave a rating: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-halloween-jam-2025/rate/3971977

— thanks a lot and good luck in the jam! 🎃

Cool intro cinematic, and it's a good way to show the player how to end each level by jumping into the coffin. I was an imaginative use of the assets and a unique experience for the game jam, so great job there. The BGM was a little quite compared to the SFX, so with more time some volume settings would be nice to see, but good work!

Rolling is fun!

I liked the core mechanic of the game, but felt like level execution could have used more iterations. The difference between the second and third levels was jarring to me. The bats are annoying as enemies because they can kill you in one touch, and since your movement is so dependent on inertia, many times I would bump into them by accident, with no real opportunity to steer away or do anything to prevent it. Also, for some reason the music and sounds were too quiet, although maybe this was just my problem.

Anyway, thank you for the game! You did a good job, hope some criticism will not discourage you.

No hard feelings, critisism is always welcome. Speaking of bats, they only kill player if they are not carrying any bones, otherwise it's a bit like sonic and rings, you lose some of carried bones which you can pickup later. You could also jump on top to get rid of them (and get some extra bones).  Otherwise yeah, bumping into them is part of the challenge, I guess, sorry if you found it annoying.

Yeah sounds are on a quiet end, wanted to add sound settings at some point but rapidly ran out of time so I just leveled every sound to be somewhat on a same volume level.

Thanks for playing and commenting!

I finished it!

The intro was super cool, how did you made it? Were some parts of it ai?

The game is very good, maybe adding some more raycasts for the ground detection or making it a sphere cast would be cool, so you can always jump if you are touching the ground.

I had a fun time playing, thanks for making it!

(Combo bonking 3 bats on one of the levels was fire)

Developer

Hey, all of the intro is AI, I left a link to a guy who made it for me on a game's page. I believe he used SORA and some of my creenshots.

Yeah graphics-wise it could get better, didn't think of it being my first game, but next project I'll try to make it look bit more pretty.

Thanks for playing! Striking combo is always satisfying, glad you were able to pull it off

A fun and cute little game. I really liked the cutscene at the beginning. The controls feel a bit clunky at first, but the longer you play, the more the make sense XD.

Yo this concept is awesome! I think a much faster turn around time would be nice, unless you want it to be a sort of rage game because I can see that working as it is. Also, in the air movement should probably act differently than when on the ground, I noticed you still gain momentum as if you are rolling. Love to see unique and awesome ideas on here though, great work!

Developer

Yeah it was not intended as a rage game but ended up being one, I guess. Initially the design was to punish player for gathering too many bones in one go, but overall , yeah, should've invested more time into fine tuning movement :)

Thx for playing!

I like the concept of “rolling around and sticking bones to yourself” — it’s a fun idea! The controls feel a bit too slippery for my taste, but overall it plays really well. I couldn’t quite figure out how to reach the upper island on level 3 — it seemed too far to jump, and unfortunately I couldn’t make it. Great work!

Developer

Hey, thank you for playing!

Controls are not most optimal yes :) Island on the 3rd level is supposed to be reachable by a straight jump from the ramp, sorry you couldn't get to it. There should be enough distance before ramp to accelerate, although I could imagine it's unreachable in case player is carrying too many bones since it makes it heavier.
