A short, but cool and spooky game! The graphics and the visuals are great and really made me feel uneasy. The jumpscare really got me and the monster design was sick! I kept looking back to get a good look at it and it really shocked me with it's speed. I love the chase music/sounds as well! I did mistake the inventory bar for the stamina bar and was confused when it didn't go down, though. It could have taken up less screen space since there's not many items to fill it, but that's my only complaint.

How is this not rated more? I had a very great time playing your game, the audio, the visuals and the atmosphere when wearing the mask is very well done! Nice jump scare when you pick up the key, luckily i found my way back to the door and escaped :) Very good job! Edit: i played on the webgl version and everything was just fine for me!
You really did your jumpscare very well! I don't know why, but I forgot to put fog in mine!
Not even my kids got scared while playing my game.

Thanks for playing! Honestly, I was putting a lot more effort into the build up and trying to keep the player on edge. In my opinion, i think that sfx and audio goes a long way when utilized well in horror games which was one of my main focuses in this game. And so far its worked pretty well haha
The monster was actually scary, and i kept looking back and he was THERE. mouth and eyes both open. great game!

I WAS SO SCARED! I jumped so hard and couldn't finish the game because I am a scaredy cat. The monster was very scary, the effect that the gas mask had also added a layer of discomfort that added a lot to the game. Really good!
The sound design is excellent, and the music after getting the key really adds a sense of tension. A small suggestion: allowing the option to hide the inventory bar could make the experience even more immersive.
I think it was an awesome game! I wish the enemy was a little more difficult. I think at least not being able to kite him around in the larger alley areas

i got genuinely scared by the monster, it reminded me a lot of lethal company's monsters. i like the maze concept but i think it could be scarier if you couldnt sprint forever and had to worry about running out of stamina
Yea there was a difficulty in the balancing of the game making it too easy or too hard for the player to escape. A sprint meter mechanic is definitely something i will consider adding though!
Yikes, that was scary. When the enemy first trapped me in the alley I didn't think I'd be able to get out...
