I do quite love 2.5D games... somethin about em. The gameplay complexity you packed into 7 days is pretty nuts and I quite enjoyed the little skull fellow. However, I did have a bit of an issue with figuring the controls out at first and got stuck (literally) on a few objects. (not for too long tho dw) If not already, jolt physics engine helps a LOT.

Love the 2.5D style and the gameplay is impressive especially for seven days.

Crazy to see an entire turn based RPG battle system made in just 7 days. I feel like that is a very complex thing to put together in such a short amount of time. Great work!

Developer

Thanks! Setting up the combat definitely took up most of my time, I'm glad you enjoyed it

The aesthetic was really unique and I enjoyed the skull buddy :)

Neat! I like a good Paper Mario-style game, and the Halloween theme goes well with that. It's a bit glitchy and it's easy to get yourself stuck on collision (or if you use a key on the wrong door), but hey, it's an early version. I think this would be a cool project to develop further.

Developer

Yeah, I didn't have much time for external play testing so I didn't even think to try the wrong key on a door, I may expand it further but after working on this nonstop for a week I definitely need a break from it lmao, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hi :) I really liked the visual style of your game, and the skull companion was quite amusing!

Unfortunately, the controls were a bit confusing — I spent about five minutes just standing in the first room pressing everything I could to figure out how to start moving.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah I very quickly ran out of time so the "tutorial" for controls ended up a little hidden behind different menus on accident, I'm glad you liked the style
