Loved it, great vibe and mechanics; would love a full game around this :D
Thanks so much for playing! I hope i can expand the idea some time. I'll definitely let you if it beacomes a full fledged game :)
Awesome game with it’s eerie atmosphere and great visuals, i never ever looked back lol was too scared to do it!
Thanks so much for playing and kind words! You did not miss anything by not looking back. I know there should be a jump scare but nothing but a red screen :)
I think it's a good game, with a spooky feel to it. The sound of footsteps echoing around is great. I especially like the rule of not looking back, as it makes it clear which way you should go.
Thanks so much for playing! I was hesitant about the reverbed footsteps which could be preceived as annoying but i am glad you liked it.
It was very hard to walk past the dude that's standing on the wall. But overall this game definitely gave me the creeps.
Thanks so much for playing! I guess i unintentionally misdirect the players by adding crouching and monsters on the wall which was a "why not" type last minute addition.
Nice game! I like the environment and how the game is best played by running through and adjusting course on the fly. Some points were pretty difficult though, and I have a feeling it has to do with either the player or creature hitboxes needing to be fine-tuned. I'm grateful that the reset noise was a bell instead of a beep as well, cuz I definitely did a lot of restarting at the beginning.
Thanks so much for playing and the feedback. I admit that hitboxes are not very well tuned. I used a generic one for all the monsters and hoped the best by convincing myself that it works after a few succesfull runs. Reset bell was a last minute addition but somehow univerally acclaimed.
Solid game! The environment is really creepy and makes you feel like something could happen to you at any moment. I like the rules that encourage players to keep moving and never stop. Definitely has a lot of room to grow. Great job!
Thanks so much for playing and the kind words! I'm glad you liked it.
this is a really interesting take on an infinite runner. very spooky aesthetic as well, the assets are great
Thanks so much for playing and the kind words. I'm glad that you liked the assets. In fact i was planning model more variations for environmental assets and creatures but i guess less is more in context of eeriness.
Really neat little experience. There is a point that I am unable to walk past, I think the collider for the player is a little too wide for some points. Really interesting mechanics in this little experience regarding following those simple rules. I appreciate the reset noise not being high pitch either, just a nice note.
Thanks for playing and the valuable feedback! The collider i used for the creatures was a generic one and i admit that i did not fine tune it very well. I guess using colliders with model-specific measurements would be a better choice in upcoming iterations. I was hesitant to use a synthesizer sample instead of a real bell voice but i'm glad you liked it.
