Oh, please, rate this new one game https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3962987 nobody rate this, everyone must go from one game to another to be a visible...
My dads computer always had this playing when I was younger! Good nostalgia! Good submission!
Cool idea but I feel like it needs some goofy music! Also - my instagram reels at 2am:
I like this a lot, it's a pretty cool idea!
Cool maze game, not really into the windows thingy, but enjoyed this game very much with it’s smooth controls and the flipping when you run into a sphere, nice job!
Always wanted to explore that maze, thank you for making this lol
The game could have benefited with some real enemies tho
I understand why there's almost no sound in this game. (but it was so much fun!)
No fucking way. I'm back in my childhood staring at the screensaver. Now featuring OpenGL jumpscare, which is truly, the scariest jumpscare I can imagine. And I'm actually being kinda honest. I honestly would say the usual "I wish there was any sound", but in this case, isn't it the authentic experience to have no sound at all. So like, probs for the authenticity, I liked it and the rat-squirrel-mouse in there, but I am not sure how to make the game more engaging and fun without breaking the authentic recreation of Maze 3D screensaver. Good work on this nonetheless.
Thanks so much for this long reply! I had thoughts to add some windows theme techno remake music and sounds to pick up but it would ruin the jumspcare on lvl 2. Thanks to complete lvl 2. I found that game is actually pretty borring and not many people complete lvl 2.
so i liked the flipping of the worlds it was desorienting in a good way. I dont know if it was only me but i couldnt hear sound. the mouse/hamster and other icons helps not getting lost. but for some reason i found it a bit boring. I like mazes my game is basically a puzzle so maybe is just me. Cool concept though.
Thanks for reply!
There is actually only one sound) But to find it you need complete level 2 in standart mode
I was startle when a photo that clearly wasn't there appeared when i looked back :0
Well done!
this is so retro I love it! very faithful to old style games and good programming
Does what it says on the tin, this brought me back for sure.
I remember that intro! But how many of us are there? :]
Great game, i got scared by the smiley upside down
