Aw, such a lovely story. Made me tear up at the end. Great visual novel all round, with lovely sprites, backgrounds, and UI, as well as music that fits so well with the tone. Really solid jam entry, well done whole team!

A really lovely game, it was wholesome to see how the two characters interacted with each other and encouraged and helped each other even before the reveal near the end, but the way the story developed flowed naturally and was really nice.
The art was beautiful - I loved the backgrounds and the character design. The UI also looked really polished and clean and really helped the game look professional. The music fit perfectly with the story and vibes too, I liked that you had someone humming the song that the character played.

This was really well-done; absolutely top-notch work! The art style is absolutely beautiful, and the GUI and soundtrack combined with it to make such a heartwarming story really effective. (Speaking of the soundtrack, it gave me big Zelda vibes - which is a good thing!)
I really liked that Sonya was able to admit that she was lying to herself about where she wanted to go in life, and that Julien was able to convince her not to give up. I think we all have thoughts like that at times... Anyway, great job! Thanks for making such a fantastic story!

A really beautiful, bittersweet story! The whole thing felt like a fairytale, both in plot and its gorgeous illustrations. I loved how our ghost boy's ribs almost looked like ribbons, and his skin like petals - the colors worked wonderfully in the night scenes, and the whole thing had a really lovely dream-like quality that's tough to nail. Well done on all counts - this is a great entry!!

Such a touching story. I so love the mood and art style and the music worked perfectly! I lost it when I realized that Sonya's hair was moving in the menu! Also props to the very readable and stylish ui!

This is done REALLY WELL, not a lot of people put in the effort, but you have a good font, good UI, and a VERY CONSISTENT art-style, I love it so much, the backgrounds are breath-taking!
This is genuinely probably gonna get 1 of the awards, not even going to lie to you. Just an over-all amazing job.
ALSO, this doesn't really matter, but I love how you can name him whatever you want, I just churned out like 29 words and it went through, what the heck. XD Also, it automatically capitalized the letter? Holy polish???

About the name select, it's only the web build that has no limit, but on the downloadable version there's a 8 character limit! It's funny what people type in though, my friends were trying to break the game by holding down the keyboard for 5 minutes (≖_≖ )

A very sweet story, I like that I got to name my ghost friend before learning it, though it was hard to resist the urge to immediately name him Mr. Ghost just for the comedic effect lol Love his character design btw the skeletal part was really pretty to look at :) Great job!
