I'm so sorry, having to scrap something you've worked so fricking hard on sucks, but I genuinely think it really helps strengthen your story, 'cuz unimagineable horrors are always scarier than imaginable horrors, at least in my opinion. ^^

I'll tell you how to get the endings below, just 'cuz its sliiiightly unorthodox, but anyways yeah, this is my first Vn ever, I've never even played one before this so I didn't know things like Renpy existed, I'd have been able to save SO MUCH time!!! :c
By all means, the writing on this is genuinely abysmal (no offence, self), I spent like 3 weeks on the programming that the writing only had a fraction of the depth I wanted, so I'm DEFINATELY going to be creating a full-version, this isn't even close to being finished, some of the writing is on the literal first draft. XD
Anywho though, for the endings, only 1 of the stats matter, Sadism.
For Marauder:
Getting 0 Sadism gets the good ending. [Kill no one]
Getting at least 1 Sadism gets the neutral Ending.
Getting max Sadism AND killing the professor at least once gets the bad ending. :]
Also, for the barkeep, to get the good ending, go with the girl, bad ending, dont go with the girl.
That's it. Literally no stats matter 😭
You can even get one ending, load back into that same save, and then just choose the other one. :D
There's only a slight difference in the barkeep one however, really the Marauder has the most dynamic endings. ^^

I love how like, they just INSTANTLY start murdering zombies, like there's just a pale-ish girl with some bruises, they don't even know what's going on yet for sure, and they're like "yep, let's kill her," NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER, they just literally be crushing in random student's skulls. 😭
No remorse whatsoever, not like "OH THAT WAS HORRIFYING, I'M SO SORRY," they're just like, fricking, "hope I don't gotta kill more ugly creatures," LIKE THESE WERE PEOPLE 10 MINUTES AGO HOLY FRICK

Anywas though lol, the sprite mechanics were also really well-handled, with everyone moving to make way for other characters and certain characters leaving and stuff, looks really fluid! :D
The only thing I'd say is that, like most visual novels, the sprites look really stiff, it's hard to get immersed when they're always making the same pose for every interaction/not blinking, idle animation would do wonders here, but not a lot VNs have them, so nothing against you. :D
That's about all I got, a really good VN, pretty underrated too! D:

This is literally a 5/5 in every way.
The story is told MASTERFULLY, the tone is set before you even start playing. This game saves automatically? You can't save yourself? WHY YOU GOTTA DO ME LIKE THAT?!?
And the way it's telling the before and after between the professor and him walking home, is its just fricking, its so enticing! Genuinely the most fluid story-telling I've ever seen in one of these, it's just, it's, ITS GREAT!
The visuals too, they're just, they're perfect! The TREES HAVE EYES, and nobody fricking asks questions? WHAT? And the silhouettes within the cabin talking, the pov makes it look like you're stalking them, its just, again, MASTERFUL! And the flashlight mechanics? Hello? Shining some things brighter than others depending on how far away they are? Holy polish? What? How even? What?
The music sets such a great tone, with the chilling ambience, the perfect transition to
THE VOICE ACTING! HOLY FRICK!
This is literally the only submission I've played where the voice-acting is a necessary, and GREAT thing, it didn't feel like I was listening to some guy/girl recording something, I was listening to a grandmother telling a story, its just so immersive, they gave their ALL! GAVE THAT GRANNY A GRAMMY!
And cinematography, like the visuals, is its just masterful! Walking forward, steadily creeping, KNOWING there's something waiting, just not knowing WHAT or WHEN, is its, SO FRICKING GREAT! Finding a pile of skulls is also amazing, its, everything about this is good! The ONLY thing I would change, is the opening cutscene I believe shows one of the monsters, but it would be SO MUCH BETTER to have it entirely up to interpretaion/imagination, completely cementing the psycological horror, no jumpscares, just pure imagined fear.
Anyways though, this is literally the only submission I've given a 5/5 for EVERY category, and holy frick it deserves it. I'm definately reccomending this to other people, and am pretty sure you're going to win one of the prizes, probably voice-acting frankly.

EVERYTHING is so polished!
The UI is beautiful, the transitions, amazing, the interactions are so great, the characters are lovable, the art-design is completely consistent and very stylish, it's just, ITS SO GOOD! D:
In more detail, the amount of work put into the UI is probably the most I've EVER SEEN in one of these games, every button is custom made, there's a TIME SYSTEM? It's just, it's so fricking good!
The writing is also PNENOMINAL, every character acts distinctly, the world-building is incredible, there're no typos, a fitting font, it's just INCREDIBLY polished, like the rest of the game!
The background's are also amazing, just, absolutely wonderful!

I got the Dead-Ending, ('cuz I'm an idiot), but I of course went back to get a taste of the world-building, and there's so much! Past human-monster wars, mail crows for some reason, and a lotta small details that add depth to it!
The sprites are all beautiful, but it's no secret that MITTENS MY BELOVED is definately the highlight, like holy wow, I need a mittens spin-off, right now!
The backgrounds are absolutely stunning and fit in very well to the aesthetic of the game, and just, it's just really good overall! :D

The art is great, the UI is amazing, but story is comprehensive, but the most of all, the MUSIC.
The music in this game is SO GOOD, one of the BEST I've seen!!! :D
It adds so much to the story; it is incredible! Every song is super-well produced, and I genuinely jammed with every single one.
And also the sprites are just SO expressive and stylish, another great thing!
The fact that there are like TEN endings is so incredible for so short a team frame! I got dead end, because I'm an idiot. :D
In summary, just a great game, everything works, all of its stylish, just, just great!

So much to love about this!!
1: THE ART! Holy moly, this art is SO WELL MADE, every sprite is a painting, it's FILLED with beautiful cgs, the animated cover is WONDERFUL, the tired lady has so much character to her, all in all, it's just, IT'S GREAT!
2: The Story! There was a lot of clever branching and choices that felt like they had meaning, I played through and got Ending 3, (because I'm a jerk), and the cg colors matching the tone of the writing is amazing! (red as a primary when angry, blue as a primary when frightened), the painting style is just absolute peak! :sob:
3: The UI and interactivity! The UI is beautiful, the text font is wonderful, there are some cool rich text effects, the only critque I have here is that, while the puzzle mini-game looks wonderful, and works symbolically really nice, HOLY FRICK IT DOES NOT WORK! I TRIED FOR SO LONG, AND I GOT 1 PIECE! I FIT IT EXACTLY, IDK IF THERE'S AN ORDER OR SOMETHING, BUT THAT AIN'T RIGHT!!! >:c
Eventually, I was super relieved to find that you could skip it via the space key, and though I wish it would say that sooner, the fact that it has a failsafe like that in the first place is an AMAZING feature!
Overall, while not my cup of tea personally, this game knows what it wants to be and is GREAT AT BEING IT! I'd say it's criminally underrated, and please give your artist several raises instantly.

Okay, first off, all of the art is AMAZING! Your style is wonderful, every sprite is fully rendered, the characters are both incredibly expressive, and incrediby detailed.
All of the UI is so fricking polished, unexpectedly so for a game like this, every single element felt carefully designed, each button a place, each panel a location, it's just, it's SO MASTERFULLY DONE!
The story was a BIT hard to follow, just 'cuz I had a lil' difficulty switching the language to English, and I'm unfamiliar with the mythology, but I caught on really quickly and it's really, really good!
ALSO THE INTERACTABLE OBJECTS ARE HIGHLIGHTED, THANK GOODNESS, THAT'S SO USEFUL, EVERY GAME SHOULD HAVE THOSE!!!
Again, I can't stress how incredibly cute and well-made the sprites are, the costume's are adorable, BUT ALSO, the backgrounds and CG's are just, they're, they're great, for gorsh sake, THERE'S A PUMPKIN SMOKING A PUNT, WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR?
