such an interesting concept, having to interview for the chance to die

Thanks so much!

This was really neat! I wanted to know more about the world and what was going on in it.  I also super appreciated the background decaying as it went.  I wanted to make time for that sort of effect in my game as well but sadly coudn't realize the vision.  Glad to see others did!

Interesting take! Not sure if I answered all the questions perfectly, but application was approved (= Some other VNs on the jam were more black&white on which answer leads to which ending.

Really interesting game, great narrative and world building. The questions being asked were complex and thought provoking. The soundtrack was also a standout to me. Nice work!

Thank you so much!!

We really enjoyed this one! Loved the concept,  it’s funny at first, then suddenly turns super philosophical, especially in stage 3. That shift in tone was really fun!

We also really loved the unique lore behind this game. Not many jam entries dive this deep into worldbuilding or story, so this one definitely stood out to us.

Only issue we noticed was that some images were missing (like this one here):

Otherwise, this was great! We’d love to see a full release or expanded version in the future,  amazing work!

Developer

I'm glad to hear your team enjoyed our game!  Thank you for playing!

And yes we are aware of the bug and I'm sorry about that, however we will be fixing it in the full game!

I liked this story a lot! Deep questions and matched the theme- I replayed it a few times with different questions hoping it would lead to a different ending. I would love to play a further developed version of the game 🥰

Thank you so much! We're working on a full release :)

That's so cool! I'm gonna put the game in my list to check it out after it's finished 😍

Interesting story and nice visuals, I like the lore, would make for an interesting setting to explore the implications of. I thought it could do with more branching paths so your choices mattered more, but it was a short jam :)

Developer(+1)

Yes we are expanding on the gameplay in the full game, thanks for playing!

Cool! Looking forward to it! :D

That was an interesting story! Really unique take on the theme and set up for a world where death actually isn't guaranteed. I saw in the comments that you are going to be adding more to the lore, I'd love to see what gets added future! :)

Developer

Aww thank you! I hope you enjoy our game when its finished :)

Ooh the music choices, the art is fantastic! That space background in the final interview reminds me of RT Game’s streaming background, I just had to mention it. I enjoyed this story!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Whoa, that one was weird! I have so many questions about the world this takes place in. I loved it though!

Developer

Glad we've made you intrigued! Thanks for playing :)

Normally, it's hard to stay focused in such dialogue driven games due to the complexity of those games. But this one felt different for some reason..There wasn't too much text, and the questions asked were short but surprisingly meaningful the kind of questions that many people ask to themselves.and the ambiance was something else..Great execution!!

Developer

Aww thank you so much! We're so happy you enjoyed it! :)

I am not much of a visual novel person, but this had surprisingly high quality philosophical themes which kinda had me enjoying it despite that. It actually got me explaining my own philosophical takes to the poor unfortunate other person I was in a call with. So overall I was pretty into it.

Developer

That sounds like a funny and interesting phone call XD I'm glad you got so invested in it also thank you for playing!

This makes so much sense for the theme,  and the writing is interesting! Actually made me as nervous as real interviews! This one really makes you think. Great job!!
