I cried,
I cringed,
At one point, the person sitting next to me in the movie theatre puked in their popcorn bag and then my eyes popped out of my head in shock.
I woke up, and there was a single piece of popcorn in my headphone with a little bit of vocal distortion affect still on it...
Was it all a dream?
I give it 5/5 and this game will be living in my head rent free at every future game jam.

This was amazing!! I adored the art and narration, and THE SONG?! Pure perfection!!

Very adorable Grimmly! It would have been cute if he was a floating head forever and followed you everywhere! Gorgeous way you altered the voice to be a lil funky too!

Submitted(+1)

That was fantastic! I thought the dialogue was hilarious, the song was great, and the artstyle was really fun! Great job!

Very nice, had fun ragebaiting Grimmly.

This was super charming! I'm curious, was some of the dialogue improvised?

Developer(+1)

everything but the song was improvised

HAHA, YES! Well done!

I think my favorite line was "If you keep this up, I'm not doing my little song at the end, okay?"

I loved the art style, and I thought the dialogue was funny but the amount of time spent listening to dialogue while not being able to move frustrated me.

Fun platformer and the writing was the right amount of witty to make me smile without detracting and thinking the game was just a gag. Nice things hidden around the starting area, and the performance at the end was solid. Good job!

This game is incredibly charming and the visual design is fantastic, love the voice acting and tone too. Great job!

Okay, this is just amazing. The art style is so cute and Grimmy is some sort of dad the way those jokes be flying out. And then the piano-vocal solo?! Absolute cinema. This is so dang unique and cool. Nice job!

speechless.......GRIMM FAVORITE CHARACTER OAT

Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect until I heard "Death was an opportunity" in the song, that completely changed my perspective of the game.

I absolutely love Grimmly and his personality! You've done a great job with the vibe of this. Really nice and simple art style as well.

Some sort of septic... eye

Very cool, aesthetics- and visuals-wise. The movement is kinda viscous, and I think the filter is a bit too much. Thus, platforming feels just punishing, I didn't pass the thin poles.

filter?

I mean the pixelezation (or maybe fog also effects how that's perceived)
