I liked the intro and book art, very cute (although it took a sinister turn quite quickly)
Couldn't really get far because I wasn't sure how to get the fast mushrooms and I kept getting stuck in trees
Same issue with the trees. Also couldn't find more than one butt mushroom. I'd suggest that B also close the mushroom book, or at least state how to close it. I had to hit random buttons til I figured out esc closed it.
Overall, very cutegame.
Two of the button mushrooms are hiding in the bushes, one of them is looking at one of those bushes, there's a small hint in the mushroom book that they hang out in the bushes. I know about the trees, don't know why they do it, perhaps they like you. I'll try to fix it, but I noticed the player doesn't get stuck in the trees that are closer to the meadow, where chanterelle is hiding, so you don't need to go so far into the woods if you just want the main ending. The suggestion about closing the book on B is a good one, I just thought that esc would be intuitive to understand. Sorry you couldn't get far, but thanks for playing my game and leaving a comment! The fast mushrooms move in a circle, so the easiest way to catch them is by standing in their way and catching them when they bump into you. I'm not sure why trees behave this way, I'll try to fix it.
