Sorry you couldn't get far, but thanks for playing my game and leaving a comment! The fast mushrooms move in a circle, so the easiest way to catch them is by standing in their way and catching them when they bump into you. I'm not sure why trees behave this way, I'll try to fix it. But as I noticedthe player doesn't get stuck in the trees that are closer to the meadow, where chanterelle is hiding, so you don't need to go so far into the woods if you just want the main ending.
