Very late to check this out but glad I did! It's a sweet little story and a bit more involving gameplay wise than a standard visual novel which is appreciated! The art is probably the nicest out of all the submissions too!

My only critique is the font... It's really hard to read as is xD

Otherwise really good work :)

Thank you so much for playing! I chose a curly font to match the magical girl theme, though it ended up being a bit hard to read...

awwe dont worry too much, my subs are always too small 🤣

The style looked nice though, maybe just needs a drop shadow to make it stand out form the background more ?

Very wholesome, and the art style is great! Amazing job!

Cool aesthetic! It was a little hard to read the text - maybe a different font and/or some outline or shadow on the text would help out. The music was nice too.

Developer

Thanks for the advice! I'll try to make the text more readable in future updates.

cute and sweet game! the art style is very eye-catching, i've been excited to play this game since I saw it was submitted hehe. Progression was a bit confusing at first, but I figured it out eventually. The apple metaphor is very interesting as well, Great job!

I was excited to play this one! Here's some feedback I had:

Art-wise, this game is very tight! I see the inspiration and reference to Madoka immediately, but with your own modern uniqueness so kudos to that!! <3

Upon starting the game, I didn't know exactly what to do, but quickly began reading the things I was clicking on screen. I think a tutorial or even just a brief intro image/note that the game is currently a point n click/ visual novel will help the player know how to interact with the game when it begins.

I often times didn't know what to click on to progress the narrative, and accidentally had to restart dialogue multiple times before progressing.

Very pretty, detailed dialogue and language. Very ethereal and appealing to the senses. Pairs well with this art style~

For what seems to be a solo project, this is looking good so far, and I'm interested to see how it progresses. Rooting for you!

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback!

I tried changing the cursor icon when hovering over interactable objects, but I might also add more visual hints later (probably as polish work). I thought point n click would be pretty straightforward, but turns out it’s not lol. I’ll put together a tutorial later to make things easier. Really glad you liked the art, I spent a lot of time on it :3
