A nice start. I only realized in the second level that I could shoot :-D. Do you plan to keep working on the game?
Like the idea! However, the game is really hard due to the fact that you cant see the platforms under you after you jump, and on the second 'level' I fell off and didn't respawn.
but to be honest, My first Idea was to use a black cat and ladders/mirrors, so I cant blame you for that!
Your music is perfection here! The high camera and collisions made it a little difficult to play, but I was able to get through the first level at least. Thanks for making and sharing your game!
Loved the music! It's very quirky and quite fun although hard to see where you can and can't go at times
Quirky and different than the norm, made my wife and I laugh out loud. Worth the play
Cute music! It would have been nice if the controls had been listed somewhere and had D-pad support for controller. The camera being so high meant it was hard to see where to land when jumping and some jumps were offscreen. I fell off in the second stage and just fell forever.
The cat animation is so funny xD
In the boss stage I fell down and did not respawn. I liked the soundtrack!
Good start for a platformer, I do wish the camera was a bit lower so I could see where I was landing though.
The cat sprites are great, and the song is fun too.
The camera being as high as it is gives me anxiety.
I will use the camera as gameplay mechanism,
I loved the cat animation so much.
The animation was sloppy due to being young at 2d pixel art animation.
The camera could be improved by helping frame the area around the player better or possibly frame up the next jump that I need to make. I ended up in a few spots where the camera had moved far enough off my character that I honestly had to guess where the next jump was intended to land.
