So my game is about doing different things as fighting spider or breaking walls with just a golf club and golf balls ?

What is your game ? I'm curious :)

Good luck all !!!

Our tool is an orb. You throw it around to teleport (or onto higher platforms to replace a jump), you throw it at enemies to damage them, you set it on fire to burn things, you make it glow to have a "torch" in the dark. You can even see the world from the orb's perspective to spy around corners. (We've got a dozen other ideas that would work well with these existing mechanics, but you gotta limit your scope in a game jam somewhere :D.) We built a little dungeon-escape adventure around these mechanics, but we think they could be turned into a really interesting VR metroidvania. :)

Your golf game looks neat, I'll check it out over the weekend! (I just recently finished Golf Story, which definitely convinced me that a golf club is very good candidate for "One Tool, Many Uses" :D.)

Edit: overlooked the "share your screenshot" part.

Fighting spiders... with a golf club! AWESOME!

My tool was originally your fist... but then it took a life of it's own and became elemental harmony:

Given this was my first jam and also my first time working with VR, I made a rookie mistake and over scoped. As a result you get to fight what basically amount to combat dummies using lots of different flashy effects.

we kind of interpreted it in a few ways. Our tool was hands (which definitely have many uses and a lot of awesome games I think had a similar thought). But also we used a ton of hand puns and your ammo (and score) is based on how many hands you collect. You can punch enemies, chop them, pick stuff up, Fire a bow and arrow (where the arrow is a fist hand) use hand scanners to open doors, and type on a keyboard at the end. All the enemies in the game were stuff that hurt hands (blades, scissors, flames, we had a masher too but it didn’t make it in in time). Overall, I’ve got to hand it to my team for helping come up with so many cool ideas.

Mine is a mix between hammer, flashlight and item changing tool, as you can see in my title picture of the game :)

Our tool is a handheld marvel of technology whose functionality includes scanning the ground for treasures and pulling them out, as well as shooting grenades and transforming into a melee weapon for keeping little thieves from stealing your stuff. The transformation between the scanning and shooting modes is based on the angle that the player holds the tool, and the melee mode can be activated by holding the grip button. The device has a screen that shows info relevant to the current mode.
