How does your game fit into the theme?
I believe this game fits in as the main combat is increasing the main cards damage with chaining the minor cards damage together and without that the unlocked cards have some abilities that can be chained together mostly wisp dragoon and sword dragoon, with wisp dragoon gaining dmg from defeated cards and sword dragoon gaining damage from attacking cards.

Fun to play when you get the hang of it! Nice artstyle!

It was a fun card game concept! Initially, it was a bit confusing. But after reading through the description and then trying one round, it made sense. There's cute artwork for the cards, and I'd love to be able to see all of the different cards! I saw some unique ones once I beat one match.

The font is a bit small to see, especially with the health being a black number on top of a dark grey heart. I don't know how long rounds are supposed to go for either, but I did manage to get a win.

One bug was that if the opponent doesn't pick up any cards, or if there's just an overflow of cards on the right, they start drawing over the bottom right card and goes out of the box.

Good work on the submission!

Neat game! I cannot see the enemy's cards, so I have no idea how I won lol

I had to read the other comments to understand what was going on. Perhaps a tutorial stage or some more explanation as to what you need to do in order to play would be helpful? The text for the cards are really small and squished, so it's a bit difficult to read. I think if you revisit and fine tune this game, it can be really good!

Cute game. The UI is a bit small, and the controls a bit unintuitive. But managed to beat the evil tomato a couple times, which was fun.

I managed to get the idea of what was going on after a bit, I had to restart a few times because if you didn't do things in the right order (clicking the card first before the slot) it was soft-locking me from placing, or even skipping with enter. I managed to get a nice little defence/offence balance going where Evil Tomato didn't stand much of a chance haha. Nice work.

Congrats on getting something submitted! 2 weeks went by so fast. Haha.

I like the idea and the copy on the cards is clever and amusing. Spot on for Dokiness. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to play? I clicked on the cards, clicked on my open card spots, and tried to drag and drop, but nothing seemed to happen so I must have run into some bugs, or maybe I just misunderstood. Hopefully you can fix some things over the next week. If you do, let me know and I'll give it another go! (I'm on a Mac using Chrome.)

If I had a suggestion, it would be to expand your itch page with some examples, and consider using bullets to break up the text into something that's a little easier to read and absorb.

All the best!
